MORAL JEOPARDY! (GAME SHOW PARODY) Episode 2
The only game show that scratches the surface of conscious cognition!
A cheesy, used-car-salesman-esque, faceless voice rains down over the stage and audience “This is MORAL JEOPARDY! Let’s meet our contestants!
Contestant number one is Mortimer Adolphus Duke III, a professor of Moral Relativism at Stanford.
Mortimer struts onto stage and gives pompous nod to crowd. Audience murmurs.
Our second contestant is Patti Beaker, a chemical engineer from Atlanta, Georgia.
Beaker walks out briskly with fake smile. Audience cringes and murmurs.
And our final contestant today, and returning champion, is an entrepreneur and unschooling mother of three, Carrie Light!
Carrie walks out, gives warm, genuine smile, and waves energetically, Audience gives welcoming cheer.
And now here’s your host….Alex Tesseract! (audience cheers)
A. Tesseract: Welcome to Moral Jeopardy, the game show where we give the categories and answers, and the players give the questions! I’m your host, Alex Tesseract. Players, welcome, and good luck. Here are the categories.

A. Tesseract: Carrie, as returning champion, you may select first.
Carrie: I’ll take covert poison for 5,000 please, Alex.
A. Tesseract: This neurotoxin is added to many municipal water supplies in the USA.
Patti barely beats Carrie to the buzzer, then smirks.
A. Tesseract: Patti, go ahead.
Patti: What is fluoride?
A. Tesseract: That’s correct, Patti, for 5,000! Being a chemical engineer has its privileges! You may select next.
Patti: Covert poison for 10,000, Alex.
A. Tesseract: This chemical concoction posing as medicine is being investigated in Kenya for being used in a covert sterilization program.
Mortimer buzzes emphatically.
A. Tesseract: Mortimer, you’re up.
Mortimer: What is moonshine?
A. Tesseract: Incorrect, Mortimer. That puts you at minus 10,000.
Carrie buzzes.
A. Tesseract: Yes, Carrie?
Carrie: What is the tetanus vaccine?
A. Tesseract: Correct for 10,000! You’re in the lead and it’s your selection.
Carrie: I’ll go with bloody cash for 5,000, please.
A. Tesseract: This corporation did business in Germany during the Nazi era and used to have the ironic ad slogan of “We Bring Good Things To Life”.
Mortimer bangs buzzer, coiffes hair.
A. Tesseract: Mortimer?
Mortimer: What is General Electric?
A. Tesseract: That’s right! You’re back up to negative 5,000 and you may select.
Mortimer: I’ll stick with bloody cash for 10,000.
A. Tesseract: This New York based bank was involved in Nazi Germany and the Bolshevik revolution in Russia. It merged with Chase Manhattan Bank in the year 2000.
Patti buzzes in with gusto.
A. Tesseract: Patti, confident and emphatic. I like that. Go ahead.
Patti: What is Goldman Sachs?
A. Tesseract: Oooo, sorry, Patti. That’s incorrect and you’re down to negative 5,000. Good guess, but wrong criminal bank. Although, Chase Goldman Sachs does have a ring to it.
Patti makes sour face.
Carrie buzzes.
A. Tesseract: Yes, Carrie?
Carrie: What is J.P. Morgan?
A. Tesseract: That’s right! Wow, you’re up to 20,000! Next selection.
Carrie: Alphabet soup for 5,000, please.
A. Tesseract: This extortion funded organization is an integral organizer of the national youth indoctrination system in the United States.
Mortimer buzzes and grinds teeth.
A. Tesseract: Mortimer, you’re up.
Mortimer: What is the Department of Education?
A. Tesseract: Yes! You’ve crawled back to zero! The final question before we enter Final Moral Jeopardy is the daily double, so it’ll be worth 20,000! The question is:
This criminal government organization is responsible for kidnapping thousands of children from their parents every year, under the guise of protection.
Patti barely beats Mortimer. Mortimer makes aw-shucks face.
Patti: What is CPS?
A. Tesseract: That’s right, Patti! You'll have 15,000 to wager in Final Moral Jeopardy! Mortimer, you have zero, so you’ll be unable to play Final Moral Jeopardy.
Mortimer stomps his foot and frowns. One random guy in audience applauds and gets disapproving looks from security guard.
A. Tesseract: Ok, Patti and Carrie, it's time for Final Moral Jeopardy. Good luck, and the question is:
A euphemism that actually means “slavery” or “theft”.
Patti’s face twists in confusion and reluctantly scribbles down something. Carrie confidently writes her answer.
A. Tesseract: Patti, we’ll see what you put first. You wrote “What is a swindle?” Interesting guess, but that is incorrect. You wagered nothing, so you stay at 15,000.
Patti turns furious red.
A. Tesseract: Carrie, you answered, “What is taxation?”. That is correct! How much did you wager? (Carrie starts beaming) All 20,000! That puts your total winnings for the day up to 40,000 violence-backed federal fraud notes!
Audience cheers wildly. Carrie jumps for joy. Patti gives fake congratulatory smile and nod.
A. Tesseract: Carrie, what are ya gonna do with all that fake mon-eye?
Carrie: Get more voluntary currency like Steem or Monero!
A. Tesseract (faces camera): That’s it for another edition of Moral Jeopardy. See you next time.
