Spearwood Lions vs South Perth

Long been exiled from the SFL era of Western Australian futsal, Sirash Sasikumar has returned with a bang, collecting six points in the first four games of the season to start his SFL player/coach career with the Spearwood Lions.

With the help of Italian Robert Armellini and others, the Lions have been able to beat Murdoch Warriors and last season's Champions Fremantle Futsal Club in a massive upset to stake their claim as top four contenders early on
in the season.

South Perth, arrived with much fanfare to the State Futsal League, but have only managed one win this season, and are shaping up to be relegation contenders if nothing changes. They are coming off a 9-5 drubbing to the out of form Murdoch Warriors which really says something about how they are travelling at the moment. Still, there is time for South Perth to turn things around, but it doesn't look likely against an inspired Spearwood side.

Murdoch Warriors vs Cambio Cumbre

The Warriors will take a lot of confidence from their first win this season, albeit three games too late. They have clawed
themselves from the bottom of the table with last weeks win over South Perth, but things won't get any easier for them when they run into a Cumbre side that will be full of confidence after a narrow win over the more fancied Stirling Futsal Club last weekend.

The likes of Tyler Garner, Nestor Fonseca and fresh new talent will likely be too much for the Warriors to handle, and this game has the potential to get ugly. If the Warriors can stay with Cumbre early, and pinch a few goals on the counter, then it could be a whole different story.

Canning vs Stirling

After showing some promise with a hard fought draw against Fremantle a few weeks back, we expected the Canning Ultra Tigers to run into some form and start climbing the SFL ladder. Sadly this hasn't happened, but the Tigers have a penchant for late season surges so one cannot rule them out just yet. Losses to minnows South Perth and a heavy defeat to the red hot Cockburn EWA haven't helped things along, but there are few easy games in the SFL this season.

Stirling will be reeling from last weekends loss to Cambio Cumbre, with several missed chances playing on the minds of the players no doubt. Given Cumbre's weakened lineup early on inthe season, Braza would have been disappointed not to have taken more from that game. They do however have a perfect opportunity to bounce back under live stream conditions and will no doubt take the points tomorrow night.Watch out for playmaker Victor Brauner, he will be banging goals in, assisted by his partner in crime AJ Martino.

Fremantle vs Cockburn EWA

Massive game here. Two of the more fancied teams to win the league at this stage of the season, with the undefeated Cockburn, lead by star signing Alek Kukic ready to pounce on any mistakes by the back to back Champions. Fremantle will have been rocked by their early season loss to Spearwood, but they also stumbled against the Canning Ultra Tigers just a few weeks ago, so perhaps have been underestimating teams early on. There are few easy games in the SFL this season, and this will be a big test for Fremantle, to see how they can rebound from some early season
adversity. A full strength Cockburn can cause headaches for Fremantle, but Fremantle cannot afford to lose this one and slide further down the table. This will probably be match of the round, and is a genuine fifty fifty contest.
