Bernie, Muammar and America's Oligarch Enrichment Project
"[Muammar] Gaddafi came to power in 1967 into what was one of the poorest countries in Africa; however, by the time of his death he had propelled Libya as Africa’s wealthiest nation with the highest GDP per capita, highest life expectancy in Africa, and less people below the poverty line than in the Netherlands.
"Although there was virtually no political freedoms in Libya, Gaddafi nationalised the oil wealth to not only fund a free health-care and education system not seen in most Western democracies, but also free electricity and interest-free loans."
Gaddafi also wanted African nations to stop using the Petro Dollar in exchange for creating a new pan-African gold currency. He never got to realize his dream as the US and NATO backed an uprising leading to the death of Gaddafi and members of his family. It was brutal!
Perhaps this best helps explain why America's Oligarch Enrichment Project does not like Bernie Sanders!
