Stop Lying to Yourself!!

I've written about this before, but I feel as though I myself need a little reminder today.

Stop lying to yourself.

Stop telling yourself that you're doing enough and that it's ok not to try something new because you don't know what's on the other side.

Stop telling yourself that something is too complicated.

Stop telling yourself that you can do it tomorrow and that you have plenty of time to do x y and z.

Don't lie to yourself.

When you lie to yourself, you're giving yourself an incorrect assessment of the situation which will ineveitably lead to you making the wrong decision...

It's just so easy to lie to ourselves that we inherently do it on a regular basis.

It makes life softer and it makes those things that are uncomfortable out to be comfortable!

Comfort is the enemy of progress. Lying to yourself only causes you to be more comfortable with your own shortcomings.
