Ocean's 8 critique with Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway

Does it entertain Ocean's 8 ? If it's fun? Not that you're going to squirm in laughter, but it's nice, especially thanks to the character of Anne Hathaway , the best in the movie. Is it well made? Regarding the execution, we can open the debate more.
As far as style is concerned, there are several times when it seems that Ross wanted to emulate the Soderberg movies and the hold-up movies in general with zenithal planes, zooms, chopped ... It seems natural if what you want is to look for some continuity with what the spectator expects to see in the cinema. But neither the soundtrack of Daniel Pemberton nor the interest of the action itself reach the same level. Is emblematic of this saga the game with laser detectors and in this film there is a sequence that wants to honor it, but it stays so far ...
If we study the characters a little, we also find quite a few problems: it gives the impression that the roles have been masculinized and also there is no connection or chemistry between the personalities of each of the protagonists. In other words: neither are they credible nor is there cohesion between them, so that this band, more than a pineapple, looks like a set of pine nuts.

In addition, the signings are also very varied. It is clear that Sandra Bullock , Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter play in a league very different from that of Rihanna or the almost unknown Awkwafina. Sarah Paulson and Mindy Kaling do fit their roles better.
But perhaps the worst part of the movie is how badly his declaration of intentions has come out. It's true that there are hardly any male characters in Ocean's 8 but it is precisely a man the trigger of the whole plot and above for a sentimental reason. Was a movie needed only with women? There will be opinions for all tastes, but normality seems far away in terms of gender. The day we stop caring that the protagonists are male or female, will be the one in which we reach an effective equality.
As we said at the beginning, it smells a bit more of the same and it lacks enough pepper, besides that the film takes its time to start. A greater point of mischief and above all a greater complicity between the characters would have greased Ocean's Eight .
Assessment
The Ocean's saga adds one more episode with its successes and mistakes, which is perceived as a second-rate product because of its inability to bring something new to the formula already known. </p>
The best </h4>
Anne Hathaway is stupendous: it shows that she has enjoyed the role and transmits it. Together with Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock, she forms a trio of gold. </p>
Worst </h4>
