World of Warcraft: Maybe not so Disappointed Anymore

A few days ago I wrote this short post complaining about the direction Blizzard was taking the lore of the game by basically recycling the same story setting they used two expansions ago in Mist of Pandaria with Garrosh.

My opinion has changed quite a bit since then because clearly Blizzard released that cinematic knowing what they where doing, what happened on that cinematic destroyed the pride horde players had in their faction and everyone in the online community and surrounding World of Warcraft sites got super depressed and divided on the issue, some where all in in the new, genocidal horde, while others where mad like me in the direction Blizzard was setting up the Horde again, to have one of their leaders be the bad guy of the expansion, again...

But clearly they did that on purpose because a few days ago they released another cinematic, showing us that just like us in the latter group of people that it wasn't just us, other characters in the game also seem to disagree with what the Warchief of the horde, Sylvanas Windrunner did and sort of helped us cope with the disastrous event they are making the Horde go through... again...

Its a pain to see the horde have to go through this again but at least now from the beginning we can be reassured that there are elements inside the Horde that are willing to rebel! I can't wait to see what comes next for this expansion and it seems to be getting hotter every day that passes and I'm at least glad that Blizzard is now willing to touch controversial war topics and hopefully this week, they have something similar prepared for the alliance, I doubt they will be putting all the heat on the Horde again just like they did in Mist of Pandaria!
