Game Review: Nascar Heat 2

In this opportunity I bring you this publication of the review of the Game Nascar Heat 2, a game that is the successor of the Nascar Heat Evolution, that I wrote about him in my previous post. Both games are developed by the company of Video Games, Monster Games, while the one in charge of its publication was 704Games. The Monster Games company obtained the license for this game in 2016, when it launched the first version name Evolution.

704Games Company is an American game developer and publisher based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company acquired the license to be the exclusive developer of NASCAR video games in January 2015, and has since launched four console games and one mobile game. Source

Nascar Heat 2 is a videogame of the race genre (Sports), which was launched on September 12, 2017, in the United States. On the cover of the game appears the Nascar champion driver, Kyle Busch # 18, of the team Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR). Also in the game are the three Nascar national categories, the Monster Energy Cup series, the Nascar second division, the Xfinity Series, and the third division, such as the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.

The game modes of Nascar Heat 2 is very good and different from the others, since it starts from the third Division until reaching the Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series. In addition, we have the opportunity to create our own team or participate in one that exists in the real life of the series in which you are participating. You can play a fast race where we can configure the different options such as the number of laps to go, the level of difficulty and aggressiveness of artificial intelligence (AI), the different sessions of practice, classification and race. In Nascar Heat 2, a full and multiplayer online season is present. The latter and like its predecessor, the races are 40 players, but the main problem is that it does not allow AI to be added, to complete the grid in case all the players do not connect. In the game is also present the challenge mode, where we must complete a number of tests where we obtain certain rewards.

In the same way as the previous game of the saga of the games of Nascar Heat, in the two the artificial intelligences can be configured in the main menu of the game, but the AI ​​will improve as the players also do it, which gives a speed rating and therefore the game offers us more difficult options.

The pilots that we can select in the game are all from the Monster Energy (42 Pilots), 43 NXS pilots and 32 drivers from the NCWTS. The tracks of the game are all of the Nascar 2017 season. It should be noted that the Eldora Speedwa earth oval and Gateway Motorsports Park were also added.

As for graphics and sound I do not have a specific criticism, since the game in terms of graphics looks very good as you can see in the images attached to this publication. As for the sound, everything is fine in terms of the effects of the cars, but many users have complained because the sounds both outside and inside the car are the same, which is why it is very unrealistic. The sounds of the team leader and the Spotter are very well achieved.
