There is one very specific kind of action game that has a long pause. Recently, authors from different companies have been trying to find holes in the marketplace and come up with something that has not been there yet, or something that has been successful in the past, and could break into the new coat even today. In recent years, so-called action games with free movement have begun to take place. Not much, this style was not just the main stream at the time of its greatest glory. However, it was only a matter of time when the direct or indirect follower of the founder of this genre appears.

Descent was the first and the longest the best in what he brought. Action in narrow claustrophobic spaces with the ability to move and blend in all directions, directions and heights. Meanwhile, several better or worse attempts have come to overcome or at least achieve its quality. There was silence for a long time and now a direct challenger came from his original authors. Basically, they brought the remake of the old Descent with a new name suited to a modern coat and it looks like he did.

The basis is already to clean one space bomb after another from the growing threat coming from a competing corporation. Someone is gradually changing working mining autonomous robots into machine killers, civilian casualties are growing, the threat is growing more and more. You are by accident near the first such problem, you are asked for a service because the nearest assistance is millions of kilometers away and you are the only one who can act immediately. However, as soon as you clean the first bulwark, the events catch up quickly and the problems begin to multiply from one money to another. Once you have one, you can go to the next one.

Bane is growing and growing, becoming more and more complex, and starting to encounter the first problem of this genre, and that is the orientation. While the levels are relatively simple from the beginning, and not so extensive, you can easily orient yourself. However, later, when the level is deflected in all directions, your orientative sense will begin to get caught. And not just that. You will have to remember more and more where it is, spatial imagination will also come in handy and it will get the most of the stomach. You will often not know where it is up and down.

You will move through the corridors in all directions. Large space halls and crinkle caves also test your ability to control itself, as you also have high altitude movement in addition to moving to the sides. In this chaos there are a variety of hiding places, secret rooms, which will find most of them only the most enduring. You have a helper holographic navigator available, but you have or do not have this stomach exam. It is always a matter of finding an atomic reactor in the money, destroying it and going over the nearest East. If you succeed in saving some civilians, you will get extra points for which you can improve your equipment between missions.

Not only is the environment hostile to your stomachs, you will also encounter a pile of negatively tuned robots who no longer want to benefit for the good of people, but rather kill them. Imagine the flying robots, originally equipped with mining tools over the toughest rocks, now having the desire to mince your guts directly. They are armed with classical lasers, plasma-engines, rockets, and anything else, except for steel blades that try to tear you apart. You will avoid them all the way up and down. Some are faster, some are more versatile, others have a lot of hits. You will give them a blessing.

To do this, you will gradually acquire a less respectable arsenal of weapons to deal with this threat without any problems. You will shoot more or less the same lasers, plasma torches, rocket launchers, flame throwers, guns and other sci-fi action "deaths" that you saw in Descente, as there are no regeneration, health and shields. The whole game acts as a modern remake of the original game, and you are collecting access cards to get to the more guarded parts of the maze, as well as collecting the same powerups, for example, increasing the efficiency weapons, immortality, etc. What was not in the original Descente, however, is the gradual improvement of your ship and weapons.

Even music is similar in terms of genre, but not everyone is in such action. Someone would expect something brighter, which would help pump adrenaline into the veins to better resist dizziness. Here's the music more to the ground, though the expression to hold on to the ground gets a whole different dimension. Even when designing the levels, the authors did not start and did not start to invent any new untested elements that would deviate from the original and could possibly break something. Different environments change graphically, stylistically, and level building. There are also various teleports, lagoon ponds, reactor rooms, and everything you get used to. Even the adrenaline feeling when you destroy the reactor at every level and you have to find the asteroid route in a few seconds before you burst with it, it's the same.

Everything moves briskly, looks pretty and it explodes, you have just as much as you want. Especially in terms of control, there is a really good chance that this kind of game is especially important. You can try to fight battles against friends or even try to create some own labyrinths full of steel death in the editor.

If you like the original Descent, you want to play it again, just in a modern coat, you will be very happy. If you have never played the original Descent, you want to try a game from this genre, you should not overload it. Those who want something different, changes, new elements, the new Descent, will be a little disappointed, but they find that this still has its charm. Maybe those déjà vu and feelings that you've been playing it will be more, maybe it will not be like when you embark on a whole new adventure. It may also stop you from having fun, or you will want to know what's waiting for you for more and more money. It's a decent portion of fun, not fun, but fun in all directions. Do not hesitate, go down to the mines. It is necessary to overload some of the atomic reactors.
