Twitch Celebrity Dr. Disrespect forced to shutdown stream due to house getting shot
36-year-old Twitch Celebrity Guy "Dr. Disrespect" Beahm was forced to end his Twitch Livestream session after his house was being shot at. This shocked his followers who have clipped the particular incident which gathered over a million views in one clip.
He has over 2.7 million followers and most of his content revolves around playing popular battle royale games such as PubG and the new Call of Duty: Black Ops4 battle royale game mode. He streams from Monday-Friday at roughly 9 am PDT consistently which usually gathers several thousand views per session.
Despite the scare, Beahm had updated his stream subtitle, "Doc and Family Are Safe. Proper Measures are being taken while the stream is down for the day. 09/11/2018". While details are still scarce and have yet to be revealed, we now know that Beahm and his family are not injured physically at the very least.
This case is fairly unique of Twitch Streamers, especially those of celebrity status, being attacked on a live stream session. This incident should not be associated with SWATTING, an illegal process where law enforcement was wrongly given information anonymously and forced to used tactical measures against streamers. This has resulted in casualties before, luckily for this incident, there was none. While it does have similar effects to the stream, who perpetrated the incident and the people involved are significantly different and the motive behind it is still a mystery.
Beahm had stated, "This is the second shot, someone shot yesterday, at our fucking house and someone shot again right now, connected with the house, upstairs." This suggests that the incident had been recurring multiple times. Beahm had stated above that he and his family will presumably be working with the police and other authorities to ensure this incident doesn't repeat.

Indeed. That is very extreme and should be treated as a criminal. Not sure why people would do this. Whatever message they tried to send, i don't think it is worth it once they get caught.
