This game is about a child who quickly discovers that he has a depression in his first years of high school.

It will play in the eyes of a child who starts high school in year 7 and we will play through the next few years, where you will learn to live with depression is like living with someone who tries to break you down all the time.

You will see the best environments with a beautiful soundtrack that adapts to the current state of mind of the game and finds all the hidden endings.

My opinion after playing:

I must say that it is the first time that I have to try a video game that deals with issues related to mental health in a serious way ... which, initially, I was quite shocked.

Drowning is a different game. Yes, I know that there are other walking simulators, but the emphasis that this title makes on the atmosphere and the mood of its protagonist makes it a totally different beast. It is not a game for everyone, and those who suffer from depression in real life may find that  Drowning is, perhaps, too real, but for others, it could be a fascinating exercise in empathy. It is not a perfect video game - it is very short, and suddenly too abstract and lacking in action for some gamers - but considering the message it entails, and its noble intentions, it is certainly a valuable product. I do not regret playing Drowning on my Xbox; I hope you are encouraged to try it, and have the same reaction as me. I give this game a grade of 5.5
