All I can say is, “OMG!”. What an awesome evolution from this award winning game of the same title (without the brawl) from Finnish studio Frogmind.

If you are familiar with Badland 1 and 2, you would find a somewhat similar form of gameplay here in the brawl edition. The wiggly physics of all the characters in this game stays true to what made their earlier games successful.

The pure agony of just cracking your brain on how you should propel your “clones” (the minions in the brawl edition) to attack and destroy your opponents’ clones is what makes it so fun.

Welcome to Badland Brawl

Like all mobile games, there will be a detailed walk-through tutorial to familiarize you with the game and how you will be leveling up.

The basic objective is to destroy your opponent’s tower. In order to destroy their tower, you will have to propel your clones towards them. As I’m just starting out, I’m still discovering new types of clones along the way.

You will be awarded eggs as you win and hatching them will enable you to acquire new clones or the same type to level up.

As you can see in the image above, these are your clones or minions in my view.

It is really your set of “cards” that you draw during gameplay and you would need to strategize in real-time to gain victory.

The 2v2 mode in this game is very enjoyable and I’m quite addicted to this part of the game. You can team up with your tribe member or just do a quick play and you will be randomly paired within the ecosystem to pit your skills with other players.

Since I’m still quite the newbie, I’m still learning and feeling my way around to improve my gameplay and strategy.
