New Steemit Game: DrugWars
So far I've not been exploring the potential in blockchain games. This came across my radar today as one of my followers linked it in her blog, and I decided to give it a shot! Shout-out to @reineddrama for posting about this.
So far it looks similar to other games of this sort that you can play on Facebook: build buildings, produce resources, buy fighters, upgrade your units, and attempt to build a crime empire built around drugs, weapons, and alcohol. Fight others, defend your stash, and have a bit of fun. Pop on through here and give it a shot. Little harmless fun, free-to-play, you earn a little bit of Steem per day just for being involved (the amount earned grows with the amount of virtual drugs in production, so more players = more payouts), so even if you don't do a lot with it, consider it a small investment in your nest egg. :)

Interesting way of looking at it. Actually, the STEEM that people spend on the game goes into a pot (89%?) and each day part of that pot is paid out pro rata to the players, based on their own share of drug production.
More players equals more payouts only if you are growing your production faster than the member base is growing, and the pot is growing faster than it is being depleted through payouts.
Yeah, I just heard about it yesterday and was figuring that I'd check it out here soon. Sounds like something I could do in the background while working on the PC. Plus, getting rewards for playing makes my peepee hard.
It's a nice game to play for a little bit each day or every couple of days. Least the rewards should be nice for the early adopters.
Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. Get in on the ground floor, mess around a bit, drop some Steem for a little community investment and to encourage the devs, earn some passive income, and just enjoy myself. :)
