Hi guys and welcome to another beautiful morning, just a day to Friday and then the party weekend, begins once again.

Today will be looking at a game called Hot Lava and I must say, even though the game is currently in its beta stage well its really looking fruitful.

Remember when we were kids, we had all sort of imagination, a toy dinosaur could be imagined has been real and thus we battled others with it. Our imagination was limitless and could take us far and wide.

The game hot lava brings some of those imaginations alive, but rather than a toy dinosaur or an action figure becoming real, it is based on a classroom where everything as you know it stands on top a hot lava, yea the floor is lava.

Although have seen lot of running/adventure games, but non comes close or comes with a lot of detail work like this and to think it’s still in is early development mode, makes one think what it would look like after all as been put in place.

You probably observed by now that the name seems a little familiar, well if you usually played outdoors with friends you probably heard of the name once or twice or if you ever watched your kinds play with their peers you probably heard the name as well, the floor is lava

The floor is lava is a game, played by people of all ages, in which the players imagine that the floor or ground is made of lava (or any other lethal substance, such as acid or quicksand), and thus avoid touching the ground lest they get burned or otherwise injured. The players stay off the floor by standing on furniture or the room's architecture. The players generally may not remain still, and are required to move from one piece of furniture to the next Source.

The game is more or less same thing, but rather than an imagination, the scene is quite real and you are in building where the floor is lava, your only way out is to jump from furniture’s one after the other till you make a way out.

That been said, a cartoon was made out of it, where we see the heroes fighting a villain who for some reason created a vile, upon drinking it, he turned into a lava man, although he was defeated from the start but a dolphin which was part of the GAT global action team, made a comment about him still been around but then the cyborg dolphin was not taken serious.

Guess that was what later lead to the fight we now face and probably he released lava from his body which later filled the entire floor with lava and the only means of transportation was jumping from furniture’s one to the other.

Three major functions can be seen currently from the game homepage which include

• Transverse: the floor is lava and the only means of moving is jumping from one furniture to another, some probably high up and others just at the ground level, players have the ability to climb high and also drop low but one false move would land you on the lava and that’s game over for you. Ensure both sides are looked before taken your next step xd.

• Climb: You are able to swing, slide and shimmy on ropes, ropes are placed along the rooms which allows players to jump a wider obstacle with the rope been placed at the center, you can jump and grab hold of it, swing it till you achieve your desired distance and let go, if you probably played POP, prince of Persia or Assassins creed, you probably have an idea about how this ropes works.

• Surf: Now unlike the beach were you get to surf with the waves, there is no water here to surf on except you probably looking at the floor, in which case I wouldn’t suggest as no surfboard would able to withstand the heat been released from the lava and hence end up get burnt before you begin. The surf been explained here, is rather a means of moving from one high platform to another, they are kind of slippery hence player can move in a surf like action from one to the other.

Hot lava is more or less a mental game which task the brain the come up with a good and fast scenario on are one could avoid obstacles taken account the floor is lava and by all means should avoid fallen into it.

Different dimensions/room is shown, so the game is not limited to a classroom whereas players can move from buildings to even caves like room, although the game still remains same, avoid the floor by all means possible, take advantage of the environment be it ropes, furniture's and what have you.

That been said, a scoreboard would probably be available as a means of competition with friend to see who avoids and travels a longer distance between friends.

Hot lava is currently available on steam store and currently trading at $9.99, well it’s a fair price, looking at the amount of time been put into designing each and every aspect of the game, although since its currently in Beta stage a cut in price should be made as well, that way they are sure to have more players within time.
