Ingame Penalties recommended or not

Hi guys and welcome to another beautiful Saturday morning from Nigeria, it’s that time of the week to get your team together and move-out.

Logging in only to find your account has been banned, ever been in such situation and what was your reaction to the ban.

You probably be among this category once, or saw a friend whose account was banned, but whatever the situation was, what was your reaction and was the problem sorted out, or you or your friend was unbanned.

We see various game penalties, having to wait more time before a game loads or look for players, having to disconnect from the game and made to wait for 5 to 20 mins before the game becomes accessible again, whatever the penalty was, just give a brief summary and lets have fun.

Am just going to give a short story about myself and how I was banned from playing …. First of all, the game was a free to play massively multiplayer games, were the objective is to destroy the enemy team tower using different tools at your disposal and also you have champions who are able to deal more damage compared to minnows.

This was actually one of my earliest multiplayer game I played on pc, back then I was focused on class of kings on mobile which became bored after reaching certain level, building my tower and far and achieving most of the progress, the game just became bored as the I progressed.

Before now, have heard of players getting ban from playing game but never actually hit me until it happened to me, tried logging in and an error came up telling me to contact admin, the issue was that I tried tweaking the game from tutorials I found online, which I never thought would lead to ban.

First I thought it was an error or a temporary issue which could have been sorted out by an admin but contacting them, their respond was that the ban was permanent and couldn’t be resolved, months of playing and sleepless night trying to upgrade my champion and increase my tower down the drain, cause of a tweak I thought would have been fun but not the case, few weeks after not playing the game, forgot about it and moved on, lol thought my account was un-ban?, that’s not the case today.

So guys, you ever been banned in playing a game or
temporarily disconnected and did you sort it out?

Other ingame penalties are mostly related to AFK behaviours leaving of game and been reported by a fellow player.

Actually watched a stream were a player was banned for playing a game due to the fact he had a kill that seemed impossible and was consider a hack, the gamer slept off thinking everything was alright but upon accessing the game the next morning, he was hit with the ban icon and man he was furious, he had to recheck his last stream and convo, the message he got was a player telling him, he reported him cause he killed after his death which was kind of impossible, but what actually happened was the paler tossed a grenade at the last second just before he was killed and actually had a kill, although if you watch the game clip correctly, you would see that was what actually happened but the developer didn’t see that, they saw a way to remove and another hacker xD.

Well I think report queries should be re-checked and before banning a player, reason should be properly looked into.
Although most developer or game owner look into this critically but others not so much.

So guys, have you ever been banned from playing a game?

What was the reason of ban and was the ban later lifted?

When ban, player rather create a new account and start afresh or just loose interest in a game and move on, do you think ban should be available or not and what is your reason, or should it be put into more consideration rather than just a click of a button bam the player is banned.
