If you probably a gamer, there is this need to show the world how much you can play, your reflex rate and in short your gaming ability, be it sport games, action, fighting and what have you.

Now one of the best way is to go on a live stream, were you are sure to get certain viewers and with time hope to build a community waiting to watch your stream, now that’s one of the wish of every gamer but when you find yourself in a world where 80% of individuals rather play games in an offline setting, consider coming online quite expensive and your network providers makes it almost impossible to come live, well that’s me.

Below is how I was able to stream my game online.

Hello and good day to everyone, well to start with I was a little bit short of words, was not ready to post anything, then for some reason have been having this topic on my head for quite a while now and I saw it fit to write about, probably when it’s all done, might get better and this unease feeling would leave me.

Steem as we know is a blockchain and different platforms are currently been built on it be it social, gaming and what have you but at the end they all relate to one account.

Before now, streamers usually found it hard to come online, or due to rules guiding other platform is almost impossible to come live, but after the introduction of @dlive, even a complete noob to the world of streaming is able to come live in a very easy manner, with different tutorials already published here and there, and the streaming configuration been updated to meet the needs of the streamers day in and day out by the lovely team @dlive, am sure they still have a lot of cool updates for us to explore.

Kudos to the team @dlive

Before now, used to watch other streamers stream be it youtube, twitch, facebook and what have you and presently I spent most of my time on dlive cause most of the games am into are usually stream there.

The need to join the stream platform was always cut short by my network providers, I changed different providers but at the end they usually end up the same or the game refuse to launch and if it actually lunch I end up with a lots of lag.

Well this was the case until battle royal was developed for android device, now you probably wondering how that changes anything.

For one, android games can as well be played on pc and hence the lag would continue, but what if you were able to cast the android screen to your computer and then stream with another network totally different with the network your game runs on?

That’s really long and you probably already lost with the many terms above, lemme break it down a little bit more.

Say I downloaded pubgmobile on my android device and am currently connected to a network A, now if I should share that same network with my pc, I would probably end up with a lot of lag and hence I won’t be able to come live.

So, I connect my pc to another network, let’s call it network B.

Now am currently browsing with two separate internet connections, network A and network B, with the above coming live will be possible.

What we are required to do next, is to cast our mobile phone screen to our computer without using wifi connection this usually require your mobile phone and computer to be connected to the same network in order for it to work, but what we want to do is cast our mobile device screen to the computer using a usb cord.

Well to do this is usually not too difficult, but the softwares available are usually hard to get and most of them comes with lots of ads, which sometimes makes it impossible to use and others are limited to certain amount of time per day before they stop working, in other to fully utilize it, certain amount of money is needed, but we want it for free xd.

The best option I found for this was Vysor.

Even though the free option comes with ads, it is more preferable when compared to others, most times the ads don’t come up and you could be connected for hours without seeing any ads, quite okay for me but the only disadvantage, you only get full screen when you pay for a full version.

With that been said, how do I stream live after getting the software.

Requirements
  • Vysor software

  • USB cord

  • Your android mobile device

  • Two separates internet connection each with a good and stable speed and

  • A steem account.

  • To start with download Vysor, upon download completion, follow the inscreen guide to install it appropriately and launch upon completed, yea I know the guide process not that good will try to do a better one later.

  • Connect you android device to your computer using your usb cord and turn on usb debugging from developer mode via settings.

  • This will give access to your pc to install the required apps on your phone if any message prompt do allow.

  • Now, you have been able to install Vysor on your mobile device and computer, your computer should be able to cast your phone screen now when the vysor app is launched, and you can as well control your android device via the vysor app as well.

Next is to connect your computer to dlive using OBS studio, I made a tutorial about how to come live a while back, you could check it out if you not clear with the process, How to come live using OBS

Once you are able to connect your computer to dlive, you should be able to cast your computer screen live now, just minimize all unnecessary info leaving just the required part and since you running on two various internet connection, you should have no lag or just little lag when streaming.

Remember to get a good internet connection, I use both MTN ng and 9mobile as my connection and yes both are in 3G mode.

Do have fun, happy streaming and stay bless.
