What happens when a game fails to deliver what they promised or probably the game price tag that was placed on such game became too high for the general public to purchase?

Well a cut, slash, reduction in the said game is bound to happen or even a new package comes in place that gives user/gamer the option of getting the game for that particular season at a cheaper rate.

Today will be looking at one of the talked game in a video industry as at now which came out on PC a month back and man the hype was so much about this game, users just couldn’t keep to their self before it was released as it promised a survival game like never before seen, although many might consider it actually bringing the expectation, while others might say they differ.

Overkill’s the walking dead,

You familiar with one of the ongoing movie series, The walking dead?, it was said to be one of the greatest movie and storyline made so far, with excitement at every corner and also suspense filled, unable to predict what would happen the next second, thereby keeping the viewers always expecting for some more, some might even consider the storyline somewhat interesting as Game of thrones, and others not so much, they think the story just dragging on forever and they just want the movie to end.

Well, we all have our various movie genre choices and you would agree with me, the movie The walking Dead really started out interesting, with the main or almost main character waking up in a deserted hospital, only to welcome back by zombies, yea zombies.

Overkill’s the walking dead is a survival first person action game that takes place in Washington DC were players have to survive the harsh condition after the world was exposed to a deadly virus that later turned majority of the earth population into zombies, we heard about it, watched it on various channels and even thought it about.

What and how would you prepare yourself in a zombie apocalypse, many said gamers would be the one to inherit the earth, due to us spending most times playing video games and hence we have become well adapt with such situations if it actually present itself, but then playing a video game and the real-life are they the same?

Well with the game we should get a clearer view.

The game Overkill’s the walking dead offers a co-op mode in which users would have to depend on each other to stay alive in the world they now find themselves. Unlike most games were you had the option of fighting alone taking it as a speedrun kind of game, were the fastest users with the most kill or highest achievements wins, well you would have to re-consider as it relates to this game.

Each player have their unique and special ability that would prove useful as the game progresses, in other words, you would end up needing the specialty from each player along the line.

Take the game Warface, it is made up of 4 different characters, were users have the chance or feature to pick whoever they see fit, but it is as well recommended to go with the pack, say a medic, engineer, sniper and rifleman, each came with their own unique ability, alone they can advance to certain regions but as you move further or advances from the previous level to the next, you start experiencing difficulty and then you wished you gone with different characters.

Well I hope Overkill’s the walking dead offer something close as it relates with the selection of character, although 4 different characters can be played as in a co-op mode but am yet to know if the selection is done in an auto lock mode, or players have the ability to choose whoever they see fit.

Since the game is an adventure, open-world game you would have the ability to finish the game differently and you or your team would be able to explore the world. With that your opponents are not usually zombies alone, you might sometimes engaged in fight with other humans.

If you watch the movie The walking Dead, then you probably seen certain scenes were our actors had to defend themselves from other humans, sometimes escaping from their reach probably when the opposite sides have better arms and more human/fire power than them.

Well it seems same can be seen on Overkill’s the walking dead as you will be able to battle not just zombies but humans as well, with you attacking different regions to steal and upgrade your weapons, shelters and other equipment’s that would make your camps looking interesting and stand out.

The game is quite interesting from all what we said so far. But then, we started by saying, what happens when a game don’t deliver much like they promised.

It seems after Overkill’s the walking dead was released with a price tag or $60, they later had to cut or slash their price down, also introducing a new package that offer user a more cheaper way to play this game called starter edition which as of the time of making this post is currently be traded for $26, alongside it came with other two packages which was already available before now, Standard and Deluxe edition, unlike the starter edition that provides player with just season 1 of the game and any other free content that might become available during season 2, Deluxe and Standard edition offers more, after all with the price tag you can see via the screenshot below you would want more.

Well, the game Overkill’s the walking dead is currently available on PC and players can get it via steam, it will be available on consoles which includes Xbox one and Playstation 4 net year.
