Rules of survival worth playing or not Review

Past few days been really into mobile gaming, tried pubgmobile and hopeless lands and personally speaking both games were awesome just some few challenges as related to Hopeless lands, the language been used there not so familiar and would prove troublesome to any newbie just coming into the world of battle royal, well the best part of the game was the ingame money as there are currently no way to purchase it using credit card, thus the game should be fair for all users and progress will be determined by how much time you spend in it or how far you can go.

The game still centers on kill them all and come at first place or be the only squad/duo alive at the end of the match, with a total of 121 different players quite the bunch I must say.

Good day once again and welcome to another game review, today is Saturday and probably away from home, with friends or family, just something to keep yourself busy when those bored moments kick in. Today will be looking at Rules or survival, although the game is quite familiar but saw t fit to do a review and I must say after this review would love to hear your feedback, that’s if you played it or not and how was your experience.

Notification

This comes up immediately you open the game, the notification menu, most games don’t provide access to this and the only way to see upcoming events is by via their homepage or any of the social platform, rules of survival made the game in such a way that notification both past and upcoming events would be shown to players that way they will be quite prepared for any upcoming events be it update which would require the game go offline for certain hours or minuets or any special occasion which sometimes provide freebies for users.

Servers selection

If you played other battle royal games before now, the first similarity would be the server selection, ~~this helps in terms of pings, most times different location brings about different pings and game developers made the games in such a way that gamer have multiple selection of servers that way they would be provided with at least one working good ping that would enable them play without lag or much lag. Unlike pubgmobile were we got 4 different servers, rules of survival came with 5 different severs, with that playing would be really fun as there is bound to be one good working server for you or incase one is down others would be available.

Game save option

The available save option is your google play games, if you not familiar with this option, now every game you must have downloaded from play store is shown here and most games use this app to save players progress, when available it saves your game progress and every achievements you unlock can be seen there, if for any reason you decided to change or format your device this option will be able to restore your progress to the last saved progress. This should be a little similar to the steam app, you can see all achievements you must have unlocked there.

Daily rewards

Online mobile gaming usually not complete with the availability of this, most mobile games attach this option to their game in order for players to have certain rewards upon opening the game daily, also they provide daily quest which can be unlocked and claim upon completing certain daily task, although this option is still available to some pc games example of such game is Paladins champion of the realm, they provide daily quest which give players the chance to earn more reward that should help in unlocking more characters rather than solely paying for champions.

Ingame money

Present games developed now don’t come without this option, be it skins, better equips and what have you, games now come with options which give VIP players more advantage over your non-paying gamer, with this option players can now buy ingame money using credit cards which can later be used in purchasing of ingame materials, be it game skins, guns, unlocking of more options or vip boost which increases your daily xp, rules of survival ingame money can mostly be used in the purchasing of game skins, the game screen is literally filled with different items players can purchase with money and at first I was kind of confused to which button to start the match xd.

Ingame money which is usually in diamonds go for $0.99 to $99.9, which is really similar to other games, is that players can’t purchase more than this or a rule is set down than says the maximum amount a player can spend once is limited to $99.9 and a min of $0.99, if true please leave a comment behind, cause it’s no longer strange as most games tend to have similar option, as related of purchasing of ingame materials.

Setting

Under the setting option we have four different options available for us which include

• Basic

• Operation

• Advance and

• Custom.

The control is similar to other battle royal games and the main changes can be made via Advance settings, which provide option to your control layout, vehicle control keys and how to identify a fellow team mate but it in numbers or their name and distance they currently are, if you prefer the game in default mode then no need to change nay setting here, although I would advise you to check the basic settings if you probably experiencing lag when playing the game as it provide options to change the game quality to high, moderate or low and also you can easily check-in battery saver mode, that’s if you away from home and not close to any power source would be much ideal to put the game in power saving mode so as to conserve your mobile phone power and much time playing.

The game menu also provide an option were users can upload their pictures, select their gender and look for a match, kind of unique I must say or is it that they have another software running through their app? Or is it that it search for a match for you via the game with already existing players who much have uploaded their picture some while back.

Gameplay

The gameplay itself is quite different from what we have seen so far from pubgmobile and hopeless land, as it provide the option for players to try out guns, vehicles from the waiting room, now there is a level up for rules of survival, although I think this option is available for PUBG and fortnite, but the mobile version pubgmobile not so much.

Compares between pubgmobile and why I think pubgmobile is more preferable than rules of survival

First the deploy process is same, you jump from an airplane and land using a parachute, first thing to do is look for a gun and other equips which would assist you to win the game, probably energy drinks, bandages and what have you.
Unlike pubgmobile which gives direction in the map were gun sounds, explosives are coming from, rules of survival does not support that, but rather it gives sound and show a signal telling you players are currently fighting, now most times this can really be confusing as the direction is usually not specified or simplified, when you think the sound is coming from an opposite direct, you later find out that the sound was in front of you all this time, especially on moving vehicles.
When you not active for a while, the game sound stops coming in.

Spectate mode

This option is not available for pubgmobile or hopeless land, you are only able to spectate the gameplay of another team mate, that’s when playing in a duo or squad mode, rules of survival offers a spectate mode for players to watch the action of their killer and also if the player do get killed, the spectate mode is then moved to the new killer, that way you should be able to watch the entire match from another player view.

Death scene

When you kill another player on pubgmobile , a box is seen to appear and all equip the player was carrying can collected from it, but rules of survival provides a rotating like prism, which makes death quite fun xd, upon approaching it, all equips the previous player was carrying can be picked from it without clicking on open or pickup.

Other options are more or less the same, that’s shooting, aiming and opening of doors, the auto pickup is not available and high grade weapons are usually highlighted to show player which is more superior.

Dropping of equips is usually more tasking and sometimes can prove troublesome as it involves you dragging the equip out of your bag, whereas pubgmobile offers an option to drop this equip easy and simple.

From my point of view, I prefer pubgmobile to Rules of survival.
