Starting playing fallout shelter.
I’ve always been a big fallout fan, I’ve played the first two like a million times (well maybe like a dozen each). I’m mostly ran out of time for gaming these days and my computer is just too old these days to play fallout 3 or 4, but I’ve been seeing this simple iPhone game constantly.
I usually try to about playing mobile games since I feel like I don’t really have the time, but after doing a bit of gaming up north with all my free time I got the bug again.
So last night while I was bored at work I downloaded this game. It’s not too complete and pretty causal. Which is what I prefer, I don’t want to get fully sucked into something too intense, or something multiplayer that you need to compete with others.
It’s got some fun and silly dialogue and features. I think it’s fun when the little dwellers go and make a baby, they run off together and hide in the bedroom off screen.
Then all they emerge, one smiling with a big goofy grin and the other looking a bit tired and under the weather.
I’m still early in playing but it’s been fun so far and helps pass the time.
It's a good little time sink. Sending people out to the wilderness and checking up on their progress is good fun. Try to avoid building rooms too quick, or adding people too quick. If you don't have the electricity to keep the rooms powered or the water and food for the people you're going to struggle.
Better to put more people into each room, and upgrade them.
Don't waste people guarding the entrance; just arm and armour the people in the first productive room.
