It is a game directed by Tetsu Katano launched exclusively for the platform of the nintendo wii, which shows us a second new installment of the series "Sonic history book" being a sequel that begins with the first delivery titled "Sonic and the secret rings" belonging to the Sonic the Hedgehog series of games distributed by Sega.

The first installment of the sonic story book, its developers wanted to take advantage of wii control by testing their abilities and that their players could experience this wii remote movement functionality for their struggles, these deliveries were based on certain books like the "King Arthur", "the Knights of the Round Table" and "the thousand and one nights" highlighting that "Sonic and the secret rings" that was the first delivery was more for the book of "a thousand and one nights "which are traditional stories from the Middle East, using characters and music related to and influenced by this.

After the success of the first installment, Sega launched a second game called "Sonic and the black knight", which will be the protagonist of the video game of my publication, without letting go those small important details to better understand everything. Sonic and the black knight will wrap us in a story where a sorceress will summon us to help fight against the evil King Arthur and his army.

The story is set in the world of Camelot, where a sorceress from the kingdom, Merlina, who is wanted by King Arthur also known as the Black Knight, after a series of dangers, Merlina is ambushed and threatened by the henchmen of King Arthur for what it is forced to make an invocation or if it would not be fresh meat for such monsters of the underworld. After doing the ritual for the invocation, it turned out to be nothing more and nothing less than Sonic who fell from the open portal made by Merlina, seeing the danger he was in without waiting to easily defeat the henchmen, but when trying to leave for the King Arturo, Merlina makes another invocation teleporting them out of the place. However, the black knight did not sit idly by and sent his knights from the round table to look for Sonic and Merlina, whose mission is to kill them. After these events Merlina tells Sonic more closely that King Arthur was once a ruler worthy of his position, wise and just but after obtaining the sword of the "excalibur" he became immortal and said power corrupted him sinking him into evil.

Merlina to help Sonic in his search shows Sonic a sword called "Caliburn" that had remained decades trapped in a rock, the sword brings us a great surprise resulting to have a life of its own. Already having a sword with which to defend himself, Merlina explains to Sonic that in order to nullify the power that immortalizes the black knight he had to go see the Lady of the Lake, however, his sword Caliburn explains that first they would have to go to a blacksmith to forge and sharpen by the time I spend on a rock. Here begins the story of our game where we will go in a search and continuous struggle to end the black knight.

We will find ourselves in a game where they joined the speed of Sonic plus the sword to achieve a better defense and we were not stopping at each moment to kill the enemies, but to defeat them while we run in the area, in the same way the sword will not be used only to kill enemies but also other options such as sliding through a wall while we nailed it to slide easily, as we play we will also find at different levels and stages people from the village which we will have the option to hurt or help, being preferable to help them since this will affect our final result as "gentleman's bonus" and to hurt them what it does is lower our result. In addition, by helping, we will make the villagers grateful, having as a reward new items for sale, such as swords and magic tomes.

In the game we can find a total of 200 objects that we can get in different phases of the game, usually objects remain in hidden chests scattered by each level, which will make the people give you more support, you can get new skills and increase our bonus.

In Sonic and the black knight we can find ourselves with different modalities in addition to the story mode that is the one that we will mainly be playing and will show us a story full of adventure and new challenges to achieve.

We will have a new mode MULTIPLAYER where we can enjoy a duel against friends and show our skills with the sword, this being very fun to pass the time and also challenge our opponents in a fighting game.

The variety of characters is somewhat short but will serve us for the action counting with 12 characters, which I will be naming later.

On the other hand there will also be a SURVIVAL where as in many other games we will have to stay alive in a limited time to get points, there will also be other battles where we will have to defeat all the opponents to win.

In addition we will unlock other modalities by first passing the HISTORY MODE to enjoy the other modes.

Before concluding my post I will begin to give my personal opinion about the game because it already highlights several points necessary to take into account, first Sonic and the black knight shows us an engaging story based on books as in this case was the King Arturo, while we play something that is not highlighted in the whole post, we will have a soundtrack with incredible melodies and soundtracks that will keep us both suspense and alert, depending on the scene or the challenge that we have to complete.

Regarding the graphics we can notice a view in 2D and even in 3D having thus visually beautiful game scenes, likewise the different areas where the missions will be doing are visually attractive.

However, despite this I have small criticisms regarding the missions since these are very short, what made me something frustrating but in the end passable, likewise even though having an entertaining story does not go very deep, and although the maps They were beautiful, there was no freedom of movement, so I wanted to evaluate the game according to the following most important aspects according to my criteria.
