Lichdom: Battlemage - short review

Lichdom: Battlemage is a first-person rpg game with a touch of action. The producer is a small, independent studio Xaviant Games.

Starting the adventure we have to choose the sex. If we play a woman, the main bad character kidnaps our sister, if we start with a man dies our wife - a very successful procedure when it comes to involving our hero in the plot.
We are helped by Roth - immortal grandmaster, ruler of the whole land .

Our fight is mainly based on the use of magic. We can use three seals at the same time, assigning each one to the right element. The advantage is that there are no restrictions on casting spells - only the time of casting the spell. Some of us throw spells quickly, others a little bit slower. Apart from magic, we also have standard equipment.

Ice caves, castle ruins and other areas we will visit during the game are based on CryEngine 3 engine known from Crysis.

The game represents a completely different approach than playing in standard rpg by using mainly magic. I recommend to familiarize yourself with this title.
