Aliens Vs Predator 3: Marine Mission # 1 + Video (The story of a Rookie)

I bring the delivery of the first episode, where I will start with the human species as the beginning of this great sequence of video games. I already made a first delivery of the game called Introduction because I explain the 3 species present and the basis of the game, but here I will show you especially the human species.

For your safety, if you have not played yet Aliens Vs Predator 3 with the role of the human species, I recommend not reading this publication beyond the explanation of the basic things because it is totally espolier and the video shows the scenes. But if it does not affect you, continue reading that the only risk you can run is that you want to play it.

Humans


It is the physically weakest species, they do not have melee combat skills that stand out, but they possess a capacity of armament and artillery that completely compensates the balance at the time of the combat. Although they have no developed senses to hunt or detect enemies, they have a radar similar to the sonars of submarines, allowing to detect the proximity of and location of anyone who seeks to approach.

Predators like to hunt humans because they have many characteristics of bravery and honor similar to this species. Although they are appreciated by the predators in their majority, to be used these humans like means of incubation of Aliens, so they can continue hunting without running the risk of extinguishing them.

Tactical equipment, armament and screen

Radar

On the screen we will have a semicircle style image on the lower left side, which will be our radar. As mentioned before it allows us to feel the enemies and detect if they are approaching.

Be careful because the reaction of the sonar is not fast and it will only tell us the proximity of the enemy, but if we have to fight in the dark and an Aliens appears, they can hide very easily in the shadows, besides that their movements are fast, the radar does not detect these enemies so fast.

In the case of Predators, we will not be able to see them if they have the camouflage field that makes them almost invisible, so we have to pay attention to the screen in case we have them closer than we think.

Name, Life bar

In this section you will see the name of the character that we will be using, which at this moment is the known "Rookie" which I will talk about later.

The white bar is the percentage of life that our soldier has.

STIMS are the first aid kits that we have to recover the missing life, we will be able to carry a maximum of 3, but on the way we will find the bodies of murdered soldiers and we will use the first aid kits they have in their suits.

Munision and Armament

Here we can see the weapons that we are using at that time, the ammunition we have and the amount that the shipper has. There are weapons that do not run out of ammunition, as you can see by the infinity symbol on the right side.

The top part will be the flares that we have. Depending on the weapon will be changed on screen, showing the type of ammunition, quantity and if you have grenades will also show us the amount of explosives we carry.

Each marin has a lamp in the shoulder, which will help us to be able to have light in the dark spaces (which are many and at every moment) the light does not have a wear. Sometimes we will have to turn it off so that the enemy can not see our exact position, especially when we ambush.

We will be able to use the flares that I mentioned earlier but these if they have a short lighting time.


Before starting to play, we will pass some scenes that may be to explain the beginning of the situation and events that triggered this whole story.

First scene

The story will begin with a man standing in front of huge doors, which apparently is the boss or high command present in the place, these doors are old and sealed, so they are trying to open them to enter and find out what is inside. they.

Using electronic equipment, manage to enter certain codes and open the huge door that was sealed, the boss approaches to investigate its interior, but a bright light begins to emerge, then becoming a style of energy field that explodes.

Second scene

We will see two human pilots in space, they transmit by the main radio, the position and the flight procedure that they are doing at that moment, but they are interrupted by static and strange sounds of the radio. After a couple of insults, a huge unidentified ship appears from nowhere, as if it has been transported and appeared in a matter of seconds.

A man says a couple of insults and confirms that they are under attack, warning us to put on our seat belts, he will look at us and tell us that "especially with you novice" assuming we are the rookie of the squadron.

Already at that time we will have the visual perspective from the eyes of this character known as "the rookie", we will move to place our belts, when suddenly a strange object flies out and hits our heads.

It seems that we recover a little consciousness, but we do not perceive well what happens at that moment, the squad leader speaks to a girl who seems to be our immediate superior, with the name of "Tequila". She sees the vital signs to ensure that we are alive and helps us get up to leave the spaceship, it means that we are already on some planet.

We managed to visualize part of the squadron, where the boss is talking that possibly in the area we find the presence of Xenomorfos (Aliens), we must be careful when attacking them, because their blood is molecular acid and it is very dangerous to have contact with this chemical.

We will enter a shelter to protect ourselves from the rustic climate of that planet, but it seems that we will lose consciousness again, we will only hear several voices and events.

Third scene

We can not see anything, only at certain moments we will see scenes of something that is happening while we are unconscious, the first thing we will hear will be a soldier who mentions that something is coming, and the radar will begin to signal what has been said. A few shots, flashes of explosions, moans and screams will be all we can capture.

It's the novice's time

After all that we wake up, seeing that we are lying on a stretcher and listen to the radio that we are talking. The immediate superior "Tequila" communicates with us, informs us that they thought we were dead and we were alone at that moment.

It will give us the instruction to look first around us (in this way we can see how are the mechanics of this character).

It will tell us that we have a health Stim, that will allow us to recover the life that we lack. By using it, he will tell us the story that the squad left us because of the situation, where there was a battle without truce.

On the screen it will appear that we can move using the keys "W (Forward), S (Back), A (Left), D (Right)".

The objects that we find will be automatically collected by passing over them, we will have a flashlight that by pressing the letter "T" can turn on or off to our liking. If more light is needed we can press the letter "F" to use a flare.

We will be given our first objective, which will be to leave the garage and the sonar will be activated indicating the direction in which we should go. Luckily Tequila will be attentive to us and will communicate on the radio to guide us and let us know what happens.

Apparently no human is in that facility, so everything that moves is a possible threat.

The road is blocked by some objects, so we will have to shoot the gas tank between the debris and make it explode. That will allow us to continue on that path, it will work as a way to practice firing.

We will pass through many corridors, each darker than the previous, on several occasions the sonar will be activated warning us that there are enemies near us, but we will not have contact with any until now.

A few screams will be heard and we will open a door, where we will get a man lying on the ground and with an impact mark.

We will have to activate the electrical system of the area to be able to open some doors. In addition we will have better visualization of the area. We will go directly to one of the electrical panels that we will find and thus restore the electrical energy of some rooms.

As I mentioned before, it is frightening to listen to the radar, that everything is dark and we do not see the enemy directly.

It will activate some lights and start to sound like a recording that is automatically activated, telling us that the area was not the most pleasant, but they were looking for new worlds to give a house to more humans, this shows us that we are in a multi-million dollar company in charge of looking for habitable planets.

We will be looking for the exit between corridors, to finally get one that will take us to a courtyard with several sealed doors, but our freedom will only be partial, because we will have to go back to another room to activate other electrical systems.

The most frightening thing will be to enter and start listening as scratches and roars of something strange. The radar signaling that something is near us, as if we were watching.

The system is down, so we will have to reactivate it manually with the energy suppressor, our objectives will change at that moment, where we will have to find a room with a lever that restarts all the equipment and reactivates the system. When pulling the lever will turn off all lights, Tequila will warn us that we must wait 10 seconds to pull the lever again and thus activate the systems again, although in the course of that short time the radar will become alarming and warn us that a few meters away is an enemy, but that we can not see its location directly.

When restarting the whole board will have a small short circuit that will throw us to the floor and Tequila will warn by radio that it detects movement inside the room, confirming that our radar was not failing, we will have to look for an exit through one of the doors.

The moment will be very tense because we do not see the first enemy, but the radar warns us that it has to be close to us even though we can not see it. We will hear that something outside the room is hitting the walls, so we will look for the nearest exit and open the door to escape, when suddenly ...

Tequila yells at us that the door will close immediately and we see for the first time an Aliens on the other side, opening his huge mouth and showing his sharp teeth. Our character will be thrown towards the ground, but we will see how this door begins to be deformed by the impact of this Aliens that is on the other side, she will try to use the air conditioning systems to hurt him.

We will hear screams of pain, it means that he apparently walks away from the door.

But our radar does not lie and keeps telling us that it is still outside waiting for our stalking, although there is no solution, besides the exit is only one, we will have to get out of there and face the enemy.

Tequila will warn us when it appears, in that moment we will begin to shoot until we see it dejected. She reminds us not to approach because the blood that splashes is a very powerful acid.

After killing him we will see how his blood that is green comes out, but we must be careful not to step on it even though it is dead because it is still corrosive.

We have already had the first contact against an Aliens and finished this mission, but I will leave it here to continue in another edition of this wonderful and explosive story.

Conclusion of the mission

I like that the game has many moments of suspense but initially it lacks some action and combat. I imagine that it will be a way to explain the story and thus understand it, without getting distracted by the shooting.

The radar allows us to detect nearby enemies, but confuses a lot every time it sounds, I do not know how radar response would be with the presence of many enemies

But history surrounds us and attracts the player to want to continue to find out what happens.
