If you like the themes of survival, exploration in the forest, being on an island full of cannibals and mutants, then you are in the right place to know this game that meets all this mentioned. It has many scenes of combat, very bloody, so it is not recommended for people who are nervous, nor for underage children.

But this manual will be to give my experiences and you can use it as a survival guide. Especially now that the game has an updated version where more things were added and the gameplay changed in some respects.

It all begins after the character becomes the only survivor of a plane crash where he is trapped on a wooded island. It has a book that brings basic recommendations where it shows the things we can create and the amount of materials that are needed.

In this book we see indicated procedure to create houses, bonfires, weapons or tools that will allow us to stay alive. You will have a bag where you can carry some materials that are light, you will have a load limit depending on the material.

To combine the materials you will have to open the bag and place them inside the tablecloth, each tool you want to create needs a type of material and a corresponding amount, which together allow it to be formed.

At first it seems complicated, but after a few times it will become very easy and fast to create anything (the difficult thing is to get the materials).

Here I show in the image the way to make the combination, you will always have visible all the materials and quantity so you can know if you need any. I recommend not opening the bag if you are outdoors because you are exposed to being attacked by a nearby cannibal and if it is night raining cold it will affect your health.

Once you learn to use a combination of materials and have your first tools you can start building structures that will each perform several functions.

The first structure you have to create is the bonfires, which allow you to keep your body warm at night and cook your food.

The game allows you to create different types of bonfires, but it is not for aesthetic reasons, it is because each one fulfills a special function and uses a number of materials and have different resistances.

Basic Fire: It needs few materials and can be created in any space, but it has a limit of uses before it is consumed, allowing to cook food and give warmth to the character.

Standinc Fire: You can't cook in this fire, but it gives light, heat and if it's raining it doesn't go out easily because it's far from the ground.

Bon Fire: It is the one that needs more materials because it uses a lot of wood, but it lasts longer than all the previous ones and provides a great illumination of the area and warmth.

Fire Pit: The most recommended to use, although it needs more material than the first two, but it has an enormous resistance, gives a good lighting, allows cooking.

These structures will allow you to save the game so that you can continue it later and your character can sleep at night. In addition to providing protection from the cold and allowing you to prevent your fired from being extinguished by rain.

Temporary Shelters: It is the easiest to create, needs few materials and fulfills the basic functions, but it does not allow you to protect yourself from the weather, does not provide heat and its resistance is low.

Hunting Shelters: It needs more materials than the previous one, it also fulfills the basic functions and does not protect us from the weather, but it is more resistant.

Small Cabin: This structure needs only wood to be created, but it does protect us from the weather and is more resistant.

Log Cabin: It has the largest amount of space, allows you to store materials inside and is the strongest shelter structure of all, but it needs the most wood.

Rabbit Cace: Here we can keep the rabbits so we don't have to kill them right away.

Water Collector: With this structure you can collect drinking water, which is stored every time it rains.

Garden: When you collect plants or some fruits you can use the seeds to plant them here and they will reproduce, so you don't have to go out and look for them every time you need to.

Driying Rack: Here you can place the meat, fish, so that it dries in the sun and can be eaten, and it can also be stored so that it does not decompose.

Stick Holder: Here you can store the sticks so that you have a reserve amount.

Log Holder: Here you can store a certain amount of wood, it is very important because what is more difficult is to cut down trees.

Log Sled: In addition to allowing the storage of materials, it is used to move them from one place to another. You can put wood, stones, sticks.

Rock Holder: The stones can be collected easily, but there is a limit to what you can have in your bag, so you will use this to store more quantities to use the stones when you need them.

In order to survive on the island you will need to eat fruits or hunt animals to cook their meat.

One of the ways is to fish with a spear in the lakes of the island where you will get fish they are not difficult to catch but at the beginning you have to practice several times in order not to waste your time.

They provide a good amount of food and should be cooked before consumption. The stone thrower is a very good hunting weapon because it allows you to kill animals from a distance and only needs stones that you will use as projectiles, which is an easy material to get your hands on.

This weapon for hunting large animals will not be effective, you will only use it for small animals. All you have to do is learn how to aim and measure the distance from the target.

Turtles are the easiest to hunt because they are so slow, they can be found on the shores of the island and appear every now and then.

You can also pick fruits, which will feed and hydrate you, but you have to be careful because some of them are poisonous.

You can identify them by their color, mostly blue berries are the only edible ones.

Some mushrooms are also consumable, but you have to be careful with the poisonous ones that are mostly colored mushrooms.

They grow on the ground, but they have almost no food, the only advantage is that they do not need to be cooked to be consumed.

These are the basic ways to get food or hunt, there are others but they are more advanced and require more materials. Using traps, bows and arrows, the disadvantage is that to be able to use them you have to have practice already in the game.

If you put bones and fabric together, you can create an armor that will protect you from the impacts of cannibals. This armor will not last forever because it has a wear and tear depending on the impacts it receives, it cannot be repaired but can be put on several layers to increase the defensive capacity.

If you wear reptile skin it will give you a cloak that will work as a camouflage to prevent enemies from seeing you easily. Depending on your gameplay, you can use this advantage to escape from the enemy unseen or to attack by surprise.

The game allows you to use a compass that you can get in one of the caves. It is important to memorize the place where your camp is located, so if you are running away you can run in that direction without stopping.

The map is obtained in one of the caves, not very detailed because it seems to be handmade with pencil, but it allows us to observe where we are and leave a record of the locations we visit. Along with the compass will allow you to locate your position, your camp position and not get lost on the road.

The first time the game starts, you have to look for sticks and stones that are the first materials you can use to start creating other things. Then determine a safe place where you will consider starting to create your camp, in particular I like to create camps on the seashore because I avoid being attacked from various angles.

The game maintains the previous base, as the creators changed only a few things in the story but remains similar. What you can notice is that the images in the construction book completely changed and new work tools appeared.

Previously there was no map or compass, this gives an advantage to locate you without having to place indicators in all places.

The first few days are crucial to collect materials, food and begin to build some things, because the cannibals will not be close, but as the days go by small groups of cannibals will begin to appear, I recommend you not to attack, but if he's just a cannibal you can attack him to prevent him from warning his group about your position, but make sure you finish him off.
