Compost Surprise

Not surprised I mis-managed this compost pile, and now I have rogue plants blowing up to epic proportions. A squash plant of some type sucking up all the nutrients of meals past... largest squash plant on the property not by design.

I see rogue tomato plants growing up from out of the corner as well.. I will of course allow these plants to grow. See what may come of them..

But a thorough weeding of the compost pile may be a good idea..

Food is surely being produced beneath the dirt, and above.

This Springs greenhouse lettuce growth was piss poor, literally nothing to harvest in terms of lettuces.. but the seedlings of tomatoes and peppers thoroughly enjoyed the heat and grew quickly. Always things that can be improved. Until next time..

...because finding time can be a tough search these days..

But I wouldn’t change a thing.
