5-Leaf Clover
It seems I have a mutant clover patch on my lawn. Usually, I can find 4-leaf clovers amongst the 3-leaf ones but occasionally we get more leaves.
Not everyone likes white clover in their lawn. It's something that goes in and out of fashion, but clover is a legume and legumes have the ability to pull nitrogen from the air via special soil bacteria (rhizobia) which are found in nodules on their roots. It's a natural way to get more nitrogen into the soil.

And I thought 4 leaf was a big deal... that’s cool...
We planted clover on the farm and then in Fall plow it under..then plant a crop in the spring... never understood it as a kid... lol
