Baker Creek Annual Seed Planting Festival: Part 2
A few days ago, I posted about our trip to the Baker Creek Seed Company here, and today I'm going to share a load of photos from the rest of our day! Baker Creek Seed Company lies on a homestead just outside of Mansfield, Missouri. Although the store is open almost year-round, they welcome the public onto their beautiful land a few times a year to sell an abundant variety of seeds!
I was going to split this up into several posts, but I didn't want to be redundant. So.... You have been warned: PHOTO OVERLOAD!!!! Haha, here we go!:
Gourds!!!
My beautiful friend @adrianecastaneda checking out the garden goodness ;)
Apparently, there were quite a few Steemians at this gathering, but I didn't get to see many of them. Or maybe I did, and just didn't know it ;)
This little gal was full of information and we picked up a whole bag of free seeds from their stand!
I tried some Kombucha for the very first time, and it was surprisingly tasty!!! And very good for you too!
There were several blacksmitthing booths/displays, and it was so cool to see!!!!
We ate lunch at the restaurant on-site and we were pleasantly surprised that they only charged for donations to feed hungry children in Thailand. How cool is that?!? We were more than happy to donate!
On the way out of town, @adrianecastaneda and I cruised the gravel roads in the area and checked out a bit of the scenery.
Thanks for checking out my photos! I hope you all are enjoying the springtime on this hemisphere on our little speck in the universe!!!! ;)
That looks like an awesome time!!! Great photos mel!!
Thanks! It was a really good time. Definitely going to visit again next year :)
