Things are happening bigly in the garden! The sprouts are really taking off and it's giving me some inspiration.

Red Delicious tomatoes are popping up. Supposedly they make big fruit, maybe they'll make good fried green tomatoes. The Tiny Tim's and big rainbow tomatoes didn't make it in the starter pods, so I'm going to have to start new ones. I'm just gonna start em in pots this time and see what happens. I didn't take very good care of them before, so I'll just let mother nature take care of it next time. She's better at these things than me.

The cucumbers are really taking off. Almost every mound has sprouts. The soil here is so nice, it really holds moisture well. It'll probably need watered tomorrow but it's been good since the rain a few days ago.

The squash is doing so well! It's really kinda blowing me away. I'm thinking of doing our watermelons the same way. Layers of soil and the pollyp compost in cardboard boxes. We have plenty of boxes after moving and just gathered a whole bunch of the pollyps. Might do the next tomatoes the same way too. It makes somewhat of a micro lasagna bed as I understand it.

The carrot sprouts are looking feathery. Less like sprouts, more like plants. The rows aren't neat and pretty like I planted them because the baby decided it was a sand box as I planted. Thanks for the help kid. It didn't hurt anything though, just doesn't make for pretty picturesque rows.

I'm really excited to see the potential abundance here. Can't wait to share with friends and family and have cookouts with fresh produce! I really want to try the box planting. I love how well it's working for the squash and want to see how it does for other plants.

Ooh! I need to plant mrigolds!

Stay relevant y'all

May the plant grow to be fertile, I support you @nateonsteemit

Thanks! Judging by all the life in the soil, I think this will be a good year :)

Looking good, plus thanks for the reminder, I still need marigolds.
