The muskmelons are ripening in Southern Utah! We planted many types of muskmelons in the food forest this year. Some grew from seeds of melons we were eating at the time of planting. A huge cross pollination has occurred.....lots of hybrid vigor! Some are super sweet and some are more cucumber tasting. All delicious and refreshing. If you scroll through the pics you can see some of the ways we are growing them. Under fruit trees and up vertical trellises.
