Sustainable Feast in the Garden of Eden

It is another marvelous day in the Garden of Eden, and we are giving thanks for more than enough of everything in this abundant life of freedom!

We made a delicious feast for our volunteers today, cooking over fire on our rocket stoves in our sustainable outdoor kitchen! As usual, there was more than enough food for everyone, and we are happy to share our abundance with you.

Today we made a steemy snacktastic feast with all kinds of yummy dishes!

The most sustainable way to eat is by using what you have in abundance! We had a huge selection of fantastic finger foods with 2 kinds of pizza, BBQ ribs, chicken wings and drumsticks, egg rolls, and of course our daily salad!

We started our day's feast with a wonderful caesar salad! Classic caesar salad is made with romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, croutons, and a creamy caesar dressing, and we danked up this creation with sliced mushrooms and avocado.

Next, we made a plate of crispy egg rolls with a ginger soy sauce with sriracha for some kick!

And then we had PIZZA!!!! Oh yeah - everyone loves PIZZA!!!!

We made 2 epic kinds of flatbread pizza! The first had pepperoni, sausage, and bacon with tomato sauce and lots of mozzarella. The second had chicken with green onions and garlic, pesto sauce and mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and more bacon!

We also prepared a dish of roasted chicken wings and drumsticks. These are a classic American finger food, although they often come slathered in sauce. We marinated these for lots of nice flavor, and decided to serve the sauce on the side for anyone who wanted to get saucy. We're all about options and customization!

Finally, we rounded out our fun party food meal with racks of BBQ ribs with plenty of barbecue sauce on top!!

What a spread!!

And per our standards, there was more than enough food than anyone cared to eat, and everyone had fun eating plates full of appetizer style foods for a change of pace from the standard meal formula!

Food is important, and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food!
