3,000 year old statue of the Sun God found.

Archaeologists recently discovered a 3,000 year old of the Sun God, in the ground water of a Cava slum , believed to one of the most significant discoveries ever!

It is a 26 foot stature, and seems to depict Ramses 11, as it is near the ruins of a Sun God Temple, founded by the
Pharaoh Ramses 11.
The Temple was destroyed during the Greco Period. The BBC news stated that it is believed that this Temple was one of , if not the largest Egyptian Temples.
Te sun god is a solar deity, representing the sun and aspects of the sun. Known for power and strength, and other capabilities.
The ancient Egyptians sun God is called Re or Ra..and in the 5th centuries BC had become one of the most important gods of ancient Egypt. He was believed to rule all parts of the created world, and was associated with a falcon.

Ra fathered Shu and Tefnut, his first creations. Shu was the God of Wind, Tefnut the goddess of rain.

Ra was worshiped as the creator god among ancient Egyptians, the largest following at Heliopolis. It was also believed that he was self created by some followers, but the followers of of Ptah believed he was created by Ptah.

Sun god Temples were built not only by the Egyptians but found in China, and in the Mayan ruins.
