WHY USE HARMFUL CHEMICALS FOR HOUSEHOLD CLEANING?

With more and more people allergic to the chemicals in commercial cleaners, it is perhaps wise to use and make your own cleaning materials.
The materials used in the following recipes have been used in many of our ancestors' homes. Mostly found in every pantry, and usually easy to get from your grocer.
Homemade is safer and cheaper in the long run and easy to make and use.

BASIC PANTRY INGREDIENTS FOR HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS.

White vinegar has amazing properties when making cleaning materials.

Liquid soap

Natural salt.

Baking soda, also known as Bicarbonate of Soda

Washing soda
Borax

lemons

essential oils of preference.

Spray bottles.

microfiber cloths.

Aromatic All purpose cleaner....free from toxic chemicals found in commercial cleaners.

1 teaspoon borax, 1 teaspoon washing soda, 1 teaspoon liquid soap. Add all ingredients in spray bottle, add 2 cups of boiled warm water. Sake well and use on all surfaces. Bathroom cleaner, floor pre cleaner, and safe toy cleaner.

Washing soda, how to make it.

Using a stainless steel baking try, put a thick layer of Baking Soda on the tray, Bake for i hour stirring all the time... mus reach 400 degrees) let cool and store in glass bottle.
Copper and brass cleaner. Equal parts tartaric acid and liquid soap, a few drops of lemon juice mix well into a paste, Add hot water and mix well. Use soft cloth to wipe objects, rinse immediately with cold water dry and polish.

4 tablespoons baking soda, half a liter warm water, mix well and spray .

2 cups water, half cup white vinegar, 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
1-2 drops essential oil. Combine well, spray on cloth and on glass surface, dry.

Scented all purpose cleaner.

one part vinegar, one part water, Lemon rind, Rosemary sprigs.
Combine an d leave for at least a week, it freshens laundry,clean spots on clothes and carpets, and is perfect for stubborn Stains.

Pot cleaner when burnt .

One part Borax, one part Baking soda, and one part borax, heat the pot to medium heat, slightly dampen base, and evenly spread the mixture over the burnt parts. leave overnight. The burnt parts should come off easily.
