(Fairy)Tales of War | Pt. 1 - The Dictators, the Oil, the Stargates

in #geopolitics6 years ago (edited)

For most people the term "war" conjures up rather concrete images of humanity's bad side, we think of bombs, warplanes and armies invading some far-away nation for some obscure political agenda. Western media outlets love to point out the alleged atrocities in places that are eventually invaded by the combined force of NATO's military, usually led by the military of the US in alliance with other Western governments like Germany, the UK or Canada to name a few.

And while warfare today seems to be as present as it ever was in recorded history, the methods of those facilitating the wars have long been refined into a geopolitical strategy of secrecy and non-accountability. Wars today may still be fought with weapons, but as we will find out that is usually the last resort a government will take to accomplish its aims. There are more subtle ways to toppling foreign regimes than an all-out war. "Wars" are not popular with the people, so why not find a way to accomplish the mission... in a more discrete way? Rather than making the obvious commitment that is always hard to explain to the remaining widows and foster-children.

Fairytale(s) of war

We have all sorts of conditioned notions about what a war is and how "our rules" dictate that the business of war should be handled on the world stage.

First of all, most people assume governments of countries to be at war with one another - which may already be the wrong way of looking at it. Are these entities really countries? And are they really adversaries? There is a good case to be made against it, which we will go for some other time - for now we will simply assume that it is the case.

Secondly: Anybody understands that war is a bad thing for humanity. Nobody wants to get attacked, forced into a corner or put under threat of violence, especially "sovereign nations" that are used to decide their own fate.
There are even superficial declarations done by the UN to let everyone know that a "preemptive war" is "forbidden" under "international law". Well, if you have looked around in the last ten years it is obvious that this rule is non-binding to those blatantly invading other countries for geopolitical reasons. That however doesn't stop countless people in self-assumed "authority" to always point out the existence of those rules - probably to keep us believing those rules are somehow binding when in actuality they aren't.

Thirdly: It is generally assumed that an act of war can only follow a formal declaration of war. Many people like to criticize the Western governments who have started invading "countries" without a formal declaration of war and yet - we can witness this behavior on a regular basis. The aspect of "war declarations" would also lead us to interesting places, but for the moment we will state that obviously wars can be fought without any concrete declaration today, or do you remember the last dozen of formal war declarations made against Syria, Libya, Iraq, Somalia and so forth?

Me neither.

Reasons

Many reasons are cited as the motivation for Western governments to invade another "country", it's entirely dependent on who you ask and what they believe.

Many who believe the mainstream media narrative simply want to help overcome evil in the world, and have usually fallen for a propaganda narrative painting a leader of another "country" as "evil dictator that must be stopped to help peace in the world". I have written about the example of the blatant destruction of Libya extensively in my article Authority of Interpretation and how the narrative is twisted to serve its manipulative purpose in order to build a strong home front with the gullible and well-meaning.

Other (slightly more counterculture'ish) researchers may disagree with "evil dictators" being the reason for invasions, they go ahead and blame the oil. We want their oil. Western cultures need it for their cars, transport, heating, manufacturing - in short any- and everything we can buy today that has been mass-produced depends on the availability of fossil fuels in order to continue production. Without oil, our economy and society as we know it would stop to a grinding halt, or so we are told.

It really isn't a surprise that the lack of fossil fuels would bring our system to its knees - after all certain power circles have kept revolutionary technologies that would make us fossil-fuel-independent from reaching the public for decades if not centuries, so we still depend on burning dead plant matter to get places and to have inflatable mattresses.
In 2018.

Remember?
This was supposed to be the future, flying cars and a holographic shark pretending to eat you as a form of advertisement

But these technologies and their viability are a topic for another day, trying to stay on topic here ;)

Then again other people go well beyond the oil, which is something I really welcomed. The stupid oil excuse just didn't seem to go far enough for me after I had found out about alternative but suppressed technologies and their potential. If governments were only 1% as competent as they obviously are in staying in power, then they don't need any oil for what they are up to, so I kept digging and listening.

These other proposed reasons will go way too far for many and are always dependent on our core worldviews, our cosmology and information availability level, but it might make you chuckle initially. So in a way it's good to hear what some people hold to be true even if it seems crazy ;)

Among the most exciting reasons for the second gulf war and invasion of Iraq I had come across was the claim that Saddam had successfully secured a stargate.
Yes you read that right, an actual stargate.

"To hell with the oil, we need Saddam's stargate!"

stargate

Other reasons include the strategic energetic importance of certain locations on Earth as they relate to the leyline grid, a topic we will also explore another day in the future. If you think "acupuncture for the Earth", you can get the idea of what those people are thinking about.

Then of course, we have all other varieties of claims - "it's all just to keep us distracted from the BS that happens right here at home".
"It's a century old plan in order to fulfill the prophecies of books written thousands of years ago" (especially that one specific book). And other people claim that "the shadow kabal is eagerly trying its best to keep the underground bases on Earth away from prying eyes and governments of the other side" (meaning away from non-allies of Western powers).

And while these claims certainly lead interesting places and can make us stumble upon some rather interesting findings and oddities, it always seemed most reasonable to me to start with the basic wisdom carried by journalists and researchers for ages:

Follow the money. Cui Bono? Whom does it benefit?
Maybe it really is that simple.

If you are familiar with the mechanisms of our debt-based monetary system, you will know that our current "economy" depends entirely on there always being new loans in order to service the old interest payments from the last loan. I have written extensively about it in part 3 of my guide "What I learned in the Zeitgeist Movement" in case you are interested.

And while the importance of money is always implied in official news reports and conversations about war and invasions, I find that the point is never quite driven home nor shown for what it really is.

If we connect the knowledge about the debt-based fractional reserve banking system we have today with the historic patterns that could be observed in the last 70 years we may find a very simple answer for the question "how and why is war really fought today?"

And maybe, we'll find that the reasoning doesn't need to be as complex as purported by some but rather: simply has to be seen through and acknowledged through our own research into the great invasions and topplings of the last century, as stated by a few brave people who have taken part and shared their story so that we may find the patterns out there in the mass confusion of narratives - for ourselves.

"It is generally assumed that an act of war can only follow a formal declaration of war." Haha People's ideas about what a war is are always 50 years out of date. It is the same reason WW I was fought with 19th century tactics and 20th century weapons which is part of what made it such a drawn out mess.

I think it is difficult to really pin the issue down. Some of it is about power. Some is about regaining lost empires or growing existing ones (though in a non-traditional form). However there could easily be more than we are aware of behind the scenes (or right out in the open) too. Take for example, the christian fundamentalists in the U.S. government (and there are more than a few). They, for religious reasons, believe that the Jews must control the "holy land" in order for their prophecy to be fulfilled and the use their power to push for policies that would make that more likely to happen by opposing other powers in the reason who are not aligned with Israel. This is one of the reasons that I believe that the conservative party (which tends to be more religious) has been pushing for war with Iran for the last decade. It could get even crazier too but I don't want to venture too deeply into "conspiracy" territory lol.

I always wish you would, lol.
It's not like there isn't any well documented information available in the naughty corners ;)
It all comes down to what our basic notions are about the world. I find they dictate what one can consider possible which is what this article was meant to describe.
You are right, it is hard to pin it down. All the more reason to compare notes and find some new candidates for explanation.
Hope you're doing well dude!

Thanks.

Eh I ate something bad I think so I have been laying around not writing for a few days. I got something out today but I think it is a little sub standard lol.

I really have to catch up on your work, the days here have been really busy lately and festival season is incoming.
Be well soon ;)
