Ancient philosophy. Some thoughts about pyronism and sophism

Pyronism is an original mental direction and philosophical doctrine that has proposed and imposed the principles of alternative to theoretical reasoning, which in fact offered a new approach to the traditional themes of philosophical knowledge, based on two basic principles: doubt and atarachia (indifference to the world surrounding man, inner calmness and imperishability of the spirit). One of the main stances of the nail is the admission of man's individual sensory activity as a major and convincing source of information, resulting in the thesis that "there is no phenomenon that by its nature can be the same for all people".

And this, in turn, inevitably leads to acceptance of relativism in knowledge and the equivalence of both the theoretical and individualized empirical cognitive data. On the other hand, the principle of the equivalence of opposing situations and the opposite definitions is also derived. The Sophist has taste, aspiration, affinity to dialogue in the form of discussion to the publicity of opposing views, to the confrontation of different positions on a given issue. It raises knowledge to the degree of self-consciousness and to some extent internal self-sufficiency. It views knowledge and thinking as a means of guiding the practical work of people to meet their needs. Sophistication is called upon to overcome the flame if it exists, to turn passivity and indifference into deep interest in the main existentialists, to give the mass psyche greater logical completeness. Sophisticated insights convincing people, suggesting they occupy a certain pragmatic position, to make choices as active participants in a particular historical practice.

The Sophist is concerned not so much to justify one or another pure truth, but to defend a certain plausible thesis. Quite often, the task leads to the achievement of invincibility, exposing or ridiculing the theses of particular adversaries. Sophistication is not only a logical and verbal grace, but also a speculative use of everyday language. Sophism appears to pose a problem, it is also a challenge to eliminate an existing contradiction that can hardly be conceived, expressed and resolved in a traditional way. Sophism is a separation from reality, a deliberate and deliberate separation from it. He creates a second ideal, linguistic and mental reality, which is not completely closed and independent, but which re-evaluates the socio-cultural reality
