Some thoughts about the philosophy. Bible and church.

in #godflesh5 years ago (edited)

Mythology invokes the cause of the past, philosophy seeks the actual presence of totality, and religion leads God to us from the beyond, more rightly - leads us to the other side of our encounter with God. The absolutes of religion are beyond human history, beyond the horizons of human being. In the afterlife, the highest values are deserted, and therefore religion is also a call to the afterlife for everyday life, and the echoes of the hereafter in the life of the earth, and a transition from everyday life to the hereafter.

Two cultural realms - the Bible and the Church - powerfully accelerated the complex spiritual process of moving from everyday to the afterlife during the first centuries of the New Age.The Jews ending with the writing of the Old Testament books of the Bible around the middle of the 5th c. On the order of Ptolemy II in III century BC 70 scientist men, later called "witches", translated the Jewish sacred books into Greek for 70 days. And the New Testament was completed by the end of the second century. Thus the Bible became final. Christian ideology has acquired the inexhaustible possibilities of a Sacred Scripture.

Also, the church of the second century after Christ established itself as a special social institute for the preaching of Christianity. The Protestant community was relieved of the caretaking care imposed by the dormitory in the catacombs, which took place under the sun and assumed the spiritual custody of the brotherhood as its primary duty. In III-IV century, monastery appeared in Egypt, and the monastery became a staunch pillar of Christian spirituality.

Apology and Patristics

A sure sign of the survival of Christianity over the centuries has given the fiery conceptual opposition between the adversaries and the proponents of the attractive ideology. The most prominent apologists (protector) of Christianity passionately defended their spiritual values. First, Tatian boldly opposed his Christian "Word to the Greeks" of Hellenic philosophy. Finally, Tertullian eloquently demonstrates the incompatibility of the ancient worldview and the Christian faith. It was only Clement Alexandre (150-219) who attempted to combine Plato's philosophy with Christianity.
