Suddenly... and then it's gone!

Isn't that how it always happens...
Totally, unsuspectingly
The intensity, the warmth, the beauty...
A full flush of the colour
Everything else pales in comparison
Heady swirls and twirls
Carrying the sun's rays, reflected
In the layers of silken threads of clouds

And then just as quickly as it appeared, it is gone...
Leaving embers of its warmth
In faint rays... still hanging in the skies...
Soon to disintegrate... a memory
While the cool of the evening falls around

                  Superb poem to accompany your superb photos @ackhoo It think the fact that the beauty of a sunset or sunrise is so fleeting, adds to their value and we need to position ourselves at every opportunity in order to appreciate their gift to us.
