Too Good to be True!

Screenshot_2018-06-08-19-59-22.png I was discussing with a friend on Tuesday about Grace and she kept asking questions that pointed to the fact that people abuse Grace. I understood from the point she was talking from as she asked 'if the past, present and future sins have been forgiven, that means that many people will go on sinning because their sins have been forgiven?'

There was a bottled water on the table and I handed it to her saying if i 'gave' you this water as a gift do you need to pay back? She said No. Now let me add another illustration; if i gave you water that will last a lifetime, would you keep wasting it because you know that the water i have given you will last a lifetime? The truth of the matter is that most people do not know how to handle a gift because they have no idea what it cost the giver. Recipients are always at fault in handling gifts received.

When people are reckless in their living claiming being Under Grace, it deeply shows that they have not experienced grace at all. If Jesus has clothed us, we must not go around destroying the clothes because we have enough. The purpose of this gift of Grace is so that the recipient will enjoy a life he cannot afford. This is why we sing 'Christ paid a debth He did not owe, the one i owed but couldnt pay'.

Remember, the purpose of Grace is so that the recipient can enjoy a life he cannot afford; and this is too good to be true.

It is with Love!
