We were expecting to come home to a pretty worn down and finished garden, but to our surprise we had a huge tomato and pepper crop ready to pick! We even had an eggplant waiting for us!

We may try making fried green tomatoes this year. That will be interesting! Maybe some salsa or pico de gio. We have green peppers that we'll likely dice up and freeze for over the winter.
