Gratitude Day 29/62 - "A special afternoon with my brother"
Hello dear friends...
Today, as every day, I have a reason to be grateful to God and this time I am grateful for the special afternoon that I shared today with my brother José Manuel. José Manuel is my big brother, he is 60 years old and is spending a few days at my house because he came to Valencia to be operated by an ophthalmologist specialist in cataract in his right eye and as the operation was two days ago, he is repose. So this afternoon when I came back from my office I found him sitting in the garden of my house listening to music and I stayed there with him. It was a really special moment. We spent two hours together listening to music from the 70s, 80s and 90s in English, Spanish and even Italian.
I am so grateful for this time that my brother and I share, because I feel that we renew and strengthen our love as brothers. My brother is 15 years older than me, so, when he was young, I was only a child, but I clearly remember the meetings he had at home with his friends and my other brothers and sisters. I remember they met in the patio of my house and listened to music of the time, and sometimes they took out their guitars and other musical instruments and formed an improvised musical band, so that the patio of my house became a stage; It was really fun and this afternoon we remembered those moments with some songs that we listened to and even sang. One of those songs is a theme of The Mamas & The Papas, entitled "Dream a little dream of me" which incidentally was part of the soundtrack of the movie "leap year" and I leave here for you to listen and enjoy.
