Gratitudeday 36/62: Ode to the Ancient of Days

Today I'm thankful to God for everything i hit one of major target I'm dedicating this to the almighty.

Ode to the Ancient of Days

The earth bears witness of seasons
That have come and gone
The waters testify of the inception
When words so powerful tore her
Into fragments, shattering her
Over the earth and under the heavens.

The sun may make quick rise
Only to fall at dusk, and the moon
Tarry till night's blinding veil draw close
Even the sons of God defy mortality
Yet none may say, ''yea, I was there
At the beginning
Of the 'Ancient of Days''

His origin, a mystery even to the wisest

His words established the hands of time
The seasons of the earth
In endless cycle came to be
And will cease at His will. His breathe
Sprouted man from the dust of the earth
Yet the wisest among search his divinity
Only to be bemused by his wisdom

His wisdom, a wonder even to the keenest of mind

His kingdom meets no end, and his praises
Forever will fall from the tongues of every tribe
All mankind will herald his magnificence, with thundering songs, Yearning hearts That even the birds chirp and cluck
And the rivers roar in acquiescence

His glory, a splendour to privileged eyes

The kingdoms of the earth he shall break
And kings of men he will dethrone. For as the sun
Rises and sets, his words serve its purpose
Till all will fall apart

His kingdom, a hope that will not fail
