Athens International Blockchain Forum

The first International Blockchain Forum took place in Athens, with international participation and speakers from Canada, China and Russia.

The Forum became a true opportunity for the participants for deeper knowledge regarding Blockchain technology and the areas where it can be applied in the future.

Many distinguished scholars honored the forum with their presence and gave interesting lectures regarding the new technology and speakers from International companies and foundations gave interesting insights regarding the challenges for safer and undisputable electronic transactions.

Mr. Kerl Marks, President of Timecoin Foundation, made interesting remarks on the evolution of blockchain technology and it’s usage in transactions with “digital” currencies (crypto) that is going to create new standards in transactions and investment. The business consultant from China, Mr. Dimitrios Moursas stated that Timecoin Foundation is seeking to create a “Security Token Exchange”, under the surveillance of the Greek government, in order to attract a large number of investors. He added that the “Safe Electronic Exchange STO” is a significant factor in International Money Market for obtaining new funds.

The forum ended with the sign of a memorandum of cooperation between Timecoin Foundation and the National Technical University of Athens (Ethiko Metsovio Polytechnio)
