“Life isn't black and white. It's a million gray areas, don't you find?”

- Ridley Scott

We all know Black and White colors. Black is nothing but unavailability of a color from White Light. Do you know where did this Grey color come from? By mixing Black and White. So,

Black + White makes Grey!

But is this grey color restricted to color blocks only or has it really stepped into our lives?

Nothing in our life is actually black and white these days. Everything comes with a pinch of grey. Who has really created these grey areas in our lives? Unfortunately, it is us only. Let’s talk about it in detail.

Grey area arises when we leave loop holes or open items in our actions/agendas/activities. There are unanswered items which intentionally or unintentionally go ignored and later on pop up as grey areas. And when they pop up, they become road blocks which bring a stillness to our work.

Do these grey areas impact our life?

Yes, of course they do. Let’s find out:

  1. For any task or activity to get successful, it required complete visibility and transparency. Now grey cannot be transparent. Open, unanswered queries can result to big time failures.
  2. Causes a lot of confusion and chaos. When In a task, all stakeholders must be on the same page. But if there are grey areas, this cannot be achieved because everyone has there own interpretations.

***So In order to avoid these in our lives, we need to think through each situation from all perspectives, all the associated queries and questions have to be answered. Digging in detail and root cause analysis must be done.

Grey looks good, but only on smart coats. Try not to pull it into your lives. Because you know, its easy to create grey by mixing black and white, but it is impossible to separate black and white from grey!!
