GRC Wallet Bot Rain Feature Announcement
Introduction
The following is an announcement for yet another development milestone reached, the GRC discord bot now has rain functionality! You can now chip-in GRC to rain on the users of the server after reaching a target.
You can find the source code for the bot here and there will be details on how to donate or rain further in the post.
Be sure to join the GRC Discord server and get your hands on some GRC!
What's next?
BOINC Stats
I will look for opportunities to gather live BOINC computation statistics in order to allow the bot to report on how much science is being crunched. There isn't much I intend on adding other than that and looking at total credits or doing a few credit to FLOP conversions.
This will require some more brainstorming and I encourage the community to help suggest some ideas.
Block Exploring Features
I intend on adding various block exploring features after the RPC refactor such as block data, tx data and other blockchain statistics, sort of like @Jringo 's SOTN analyses.
I'll have to find a little bit of time for this because it will take a while to develop and test all the input validation things, but I must thank @barton26 for helping me break things on the testing bot.

Faucet and Rainbot Donations
Faucet
My faucet provides the highest amount of any non-researcher GRC faucet per request and is the place where a lot of users are getting their GRC. I keep it well topped up but some help from the community wouldn't hurt. Rainbot
The rainbot will collect donations until the balance is over a certain threshold, then it will divide the balance randomly over the online users in the server. Thank you delta for all the hard work you put into this project. Also thank you for patience with me as I attempted to break it repeatedly for "testing purposes" ;)
Would you be able to share more information regarding the rain implementation? Does it rain on active users, online users, or all users in the channel? Is there a set threshold for the rain to activate?
Can do. The rainbot will accumulate GRC until it hits a certain, random number and then hand out random subsets of the amount to any users that have an account with the bot and are online.

Is it really needed to be online? I would love to have this requirement more flexible... like example, for users that were online in the last 4 hours?
Many different alternatives were voted upon but nonetheless it is open to discussion. After all, as it is now and what you are saying, limiting it to online users encourages active members, and that's what I want.
I made a trade for over 700 GRC! 350 has so far gone to the faucet, over 100 have been rained and the rest are sitting in my wallet ready for more rain or faucet when we need it.
