BOINC Workshop 2019
Hi everyone,
I received an announcement about the BOINC Workshop 2019. It will be held on July 9-12, at the IBM Innovation Center in Chicago.
Is anyone from our community planning to take part? There's no cost for the workshop, but if someone is in need for support on accomodation, maybe we can ask the Gridcoin Foundation or to collect some donations...
World Community Grid is proud to be hosting the 2019 BOINC Workshop in Chicago, Illinois. This annual workshop is designed for researchers, scientists, academics, developers and volunteers with any level of interest in the BOINC open source volunteer computing platform. All are welcome!
Dates: July 9-12, 2019
Location: IBM, 71 South Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606, USA
Workshop agenda: Information about workshop agendas will be posted at a later date.
Registration: Please complete the free registration for the workshop here.
Attendance Fee: There will be no cost to attend the workshop.
I think there's a few of us already registered = ) Keep an eye out for more info.
Nice, I think I might actually go too. Chicago is a very doable destination for me.
Afterwards we all go to pitchfork and house fests

I might pen this in on my to do list this Summer. It is a bit of hike from where I live but it gives me a good reason to visit a family member who lives 3 hours south from there in Il.
Won't be able to attend, I was lucky to attend the last 2 events in Paris and Oxford. Hope it all goes well 👍
