This is my third entry in @vdux’s haiku contest on the theme of snow.

I apologize; this one is not a happy poem. It is about loss and the frailty of life, and it is about someone who was very very dear to me.

My Lost Snowflake

You were my snowflake
Brilliant, fun, like no other
Just as quickly gone
