Very nicely done...flows smoothly off the tongue as I read it. Repetition of 't's in first line... s in smoke and scorn, then compatibility between dawn and scorn is agreeable to the ear. I don't know how much of this is art and how much is intuitive poetry, but all of it works beautifully. And of course there is the concept, which pits modern and artificial against natural and primitive. So much going on in your simple haiku...or perhaps it's going on in my head :)

I simply penned down what make to me as I observe the image.
