I love Halloween. Have I mentioned that I love Halloween? I bet I have...
So today, continuing both my wife's birthday weekend celebration AND Halloween month, the family is going to breakfast at a ridiculously busy local spot (the Pancake House), which is excellent, but one of the few places in Longview where you have to WAIT a while to get a seat!
Then, after breakfast, we're all smurfing out of town (and by "all," I mean Mariah, younger daughter, Ellie, older daughter, Frankie, Frank's husband, Alec, the new grandkid, Felicity, and ME), to go to some big, fancy PUMPKIN PATCH out past Portland, Oregon, near Mt. Hood! (Long drive!)
In response to our pumpkin gathering expedition, I've created a SPEED drawing of a jack-o-lantern, drawn using one continuous line. (I cheated a bit by adding color---but all of the defining features were created with the single line.)
After today's flurry of activities, I have the next two days off of work, so I SHOULD be able to get back into my writing swing and get a new Read a Damn book review, a couple new Spook Show reviews, and the next episode of Story Time completed and published over the course of the next few days; plus, I'll try to get some pictures of the pumpkin patch today and do a little write-up of that experience! (Share the fun!) I'm excited to get back on a solid writing schedule again!!!
