Trick or Treat on Halloween: It’s a Spooky Time
Halloween is a Christian event celebration that occurs annually on the last day of October. The event is said to be originated from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain where people would gather around light bonfires, sing songs, tell stories, and wore customs that were pretty much scary as a way to scare off ghosts (www: https://history.com).
As with time and over the years this event can become interestingly funny, scary, filled with curiosity for children, but most definitely spooky. So spooky in a sense that if you are to go to a dark haunted house you’ll be surprisingly entertained to see and experience the most terrifying event in your life as it is where they have all the gory and bloody skeletons as well as body parts or mannequins that appears to devour you as soon as it gets close to your face or if you’re within reach by each of them. There’ll be lots of surprises there as well as excitement. You’ll have a good thrill going to a dark haunted house.
But in my neighborhood, it’ll be a fun event celebration for the children. This morning as I was jogging and walking I saw some houses that are already Halloween decorated readying for the children to come trick-or treating tomorrow night where they’d ask and receive assortment of candies or who knows they might get trick instead with a ghost; now that would be spooky, right? Yup, that’s trick or treat, give them something to eat!
Trick or treat...give something to eat! The ghosts are hungry, can't you see, but that's spooky, you see.
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy browsing these photos. Have a happy halloween. And most of all enjoy trick or treating with your kids or friends.
