With Halloween Approaching, A Poem About the Candy Giving Season!!!!

The season has come
the season of giving
but not of gifts,
but rather candy,
a time for the living
to raise the dead
in costume.

A season where we
try to scare
all in good fun,
but be aware,
around every corner,
a goblin or ghoul,
or perhaps
a treat.

Instead of tricks,
we have decided to give
to give all our candy
to all of the kids
who ring the bell,
or knock on the door,
and wander their way
back home.
