The principles of a healthy life

Recently it became fashionable to live healthy. I'm not from the people who are slaves of the trends, but this time, it's happening something that can really be useful to everyone. The good health is something that is difficult to achieve, and while for some is a given, for others things are not that way.

In today's world, it is terribly difficult to maintain good health and since I have been trying for some time to achieve this for myself and my family, I want to share with you the conclusions I have reached through various sources of information.

Expand your knowledge📖

In order to adequately care for our body, we need to have at least a minimal understanding of how it works. Chemistry and biology here are of the utmost importance to understand the processes that happen in our body and to understand how external influences effect us. It is good to know what substances are contained in the foods we eat and what is the amount needed for our organism. It is also a good idea to get acquainted with the substances that are useful to every organ, as well as those that affect him badly.

A whole system of knowledge is required to be "qualified" to take good care of ourselves. However, any additional knowledge will push you forward one step further in the implementing of the healthy lifestyle initiative.

Know your weak spots🕴

Knowing our own body is a key element in our health plan. Every person has organs that are more developed and ones that need extra care to be healthy, so we need to be able to recognize them in order to help them to work properly.

For example, I have weak joints and problematic stomachs and intestines and on the other side I have a strong heart and a healthy liver. This does not mean that I do not have to think about my heart and liver, but that I have to worry more about my stomach and joints to improve their condition.

Make your own food🥗

There are already a variety of restaurants and shops that work under the motto "Healthy Lifestyle".
I worked in a restaurant and I remained disgusted. What I have learned is that the main goal of the restaurant business is to make money rather than satisfy the customer at 100%. The principle is to buy low-quality food and sell it 10 times more expensive with a high-quality label. Not to mention the busy time of the day when it's all is set at speed in front of quality.

How can we be sure they really offer us what they say?
We can not.

The best way to live as healthy as possible is to grow and do our own food. And yes, it is very labor-intensive, but everything requires effort and self-sacrifice.
Yet many people do not have the conditions to grow their own food, but now we can easily find what we are looking for. There are so many small farms that offer vegetables, fruits, milk and meet products. If you have time you can even see for yourself the process of preparing the food that is offered to you. So you will get quality food, and the other person will win something for the work he has done.

Drink water💧

Some of us, often forget about the importance of water. The human body contains on average about 70% water. Scientist have proven that most of the diseases occur on the base on water shortage.

The water is irreplaceable element that gives life to the cells by participating in the transport of oxygen and nutrients to the cells of the body. She participates in the exchange of substances and the maintenance of body temperature. The water cleanses the toxins and restores the vitality of the body. In each organism, it plays the role of a solvent and an environment to carry out chemical reactions. It provides the transport of energy sources, enzymes, hormones, biologically active substances, but also the transfer of toxic end products out of the metabolism.

Water shortage makes it difficult to carry out all the processes that need her. Daily shower and drinking water are mandatory to keep our body fresh and working at full speed.

Breath clean air🌲

It's hard to have healthy lungs when you live in a big city. World propaganda is that cigarettes have a major contribution to the percentage of people with lung cancer. In fact, car gases are far more harmful than nicotine in cigarettes. Every ignition of the car is a smoked cigarette case. It is absurd when I see someone running for health on the busy streets of the cities. Just when your lungs are wide open, you breathe in full strength from the cocktail of gas generated by traffic.

The truth is that this is the most difficult condition to implement. To breathe fresh air, you have to live in a specific place: lots of vegetation, few people. And the big city offers us work, friend, entertainment. Personally, I managed to escape the city. Now, I live at 1,300 meters above sea level, in a village with few people and great vegetation and only 20 kilometers from the capital. I have to tell you the difference is huge. Now that my body got used to the pure air, every visit to the busy city cost me a few hours of nausea.

I know that not everyone has the opportunity to just move. My advice is at least during your free time to go somewhere where nature is still untouched on the one hand to breathe fresh air, on the other for a little calmness.

And do not run for health in peak hours!

Do sports🤸

There is clear evidence of the harmful impact of immobilization on the health, manpower and longevity of man. Increased motor activity is not only a good preventative measure against various diseases, but can also be a good tool for restoring the body after a disease.

Sports activities improve heartbeat, normalize blood pressure, acts favorably on the work of all vital systems of the body, and also improve brain activity and slow down aging processes. Regular training not only strengthens the body and improves fitness, they have a positive impact on the mentality, coordination and concentration abilities.

Sport is often associated with heavy physical exercise in the gym, but I personally do not like going into the cycle of repetitive exercise. Instead, I prefer to spend some of my day to go for a walk or to ride a bicycle. So every time, except that I provide the necessary dose of movement, I also visit new, and sometimes old, favorite places.

Be happy🎭

We have all heard that laughter prolongs life and this is proven. It could even be said that happiness is directly related to health.

It is known that stress has a bad effect on the body and its large amount leads to health problems. It is logical that the happiness have the opposite effect. Positive thoughts, except that making us feel good, are also in direct relation with our state of health due to the chemical reactions that arise from them. Every thought leads to the production of certain substances in the brain.

Negative thoughts slow the brain's work and dramatically reduce the immunity of the body. Positive thoughts, on the other hand, recharge the immune system and release the hormones that make us feel good. This helps the brain to work at full speed and generally supports its development and especially its front part, which controls all the processes in the body.

Maintaining a good state of health requires perseverance and effort, which it is not always possible to make. In the end, every little step in this direction is beneficial. Take care of your body. It is your companion for life.
