Medicinal Drinking Water. Dahamukthi / Dahashamani

If you ever visit our house, you will be served with yellow or red colored drinking water :

This water is boiled adding with ayurvedic mixture of medicinal herbs:

Medicine - Scientific Name
Ramacham - Chrysopogon zizanioides
Malli - Corriander
Pathimukam - Biancaea sappan
Karingali - Diospyros ebenum
Nannari - Hemidesmus indicus
Chukku - Dry Ginger
Elam - Cardamom

These ayurvedic ingredients are added in water while boiling as a daily routine (we drink boiled water always, hot water even in summer). Very fine form of medicinal benefits are fully absorbed in boiled water which is why it is ideal drink for quenching thirst, it is also known for purifying blood and promote easy digestion.

We also boil water with Cumin seeds, Dry Ginger as well. Like Cumin seed water tastes like cumin, dry ginger water tastes like ginger this medicinal water does not tastes like any medicine yet have a pleasant aroma.

People who don't like the taste of plain water can try this ! I don't have to explain how much important it is to drink water in the first place. :)
