Capli buta as a mixture of herbal medicine ingredients
Capli buta mempunyai daun mirip dengan daun sirih, berbentuk hati dengan lebar 6-10 cm.permukaan daun Caplibuta sedikit lekuk-lekuk, tidak licin seperti permukaan daun sirih. Buahnya mirip dengan lada, terdiri dari butiran yang menempel pada tangkai. Tapi butiran buah caplibuta menyatu hanya muncul sebagai satu buah utuh, berdiameter 1 cm, dengan panjang 5 cm. Buah caplibuta berwarna hijau dan akan menjadi merah ketika benar-benar matang.
Buah capli buta mempunyai beberapa khasiat untuk mengobati penyakit,seperti batuk pilek gangguan pernafasan dan asma.capli buta sering dijadikan campuran bahan pembuat jamu,capli buta juga bisa digunakan untuk mengobati sakit gigi dengan cara ditumbuk buah nya hingga halus kemudian digunakan pada gigi yang sakit.
